Story
This little bat-in-disguise was born in born in a feral-cat kennel at the Los Banos Animal Shelter on April 3rd, 2023, along with 4 brothers and a sister. Obviously, a feral kennel is no place for a baby so mom and kits hitched a ride over to little bean's and grew up happily in foster care. Just as he reached adoptable age, Heizou and his brother Gorou developed F.I.P - an illness caused by a genetic mutation. The treatment is 84 days long -- and Heizou is almost done! He has responded very well to treatment and has made a full recovery, but the treatment has to run its entire course to make sure it stays that way. F.I.P sounds scary - but treating it is one of little bean's specialties and Heizou is receiving treatment at our vet-tech founder's nursery along with several other F.I.P kitties. Heizou is a certified sweetie-pie and while he can be a little shy at first, once he gets settled in he will run over to you for pets and cuddles, enjoys being held and snuggled, and of course loves to play - like any other kitten! Wondering about the name? little bean's is run by certified nerds® and he and his entire litter were named after characters from the popular video game Genshin Impact, but don't worry, you don't have to keep the name! (Something hinting at his giant ears might be more apt)

Story
This little fireball was born in born in a feral-cat kennel at the Los Banos Animal Shelter on April 3rd, 2023, along with 4 brothers and a sister. Obviously, a feral kennel is no place for a baby so mom and kits hitched a ride over to little bean's and grew up happily in foster care. In a litter of kittens there tend to be common archetypes - the loner, the troublemaker, the adventurer, etc. Gorou is 100% the adventurer and drove his foster parents crazy as a young kitten, repeatedly breaking out of his pen, and teaching his siblings how to do the same. His fervor for adventure is second only to his desire for attention - this boy loves nothing more than to curl up next to you for a nap. You may notice Gorou is a bit floppy, just as he reached adoptable age, Gorou and his brother Heizou developed F.I.P - an illness caused by a genetic mutation. The treatment is 84 days long -- and Gorou is almost done! There are several types of F.I.P and Gorou had neuro-F.I.P meaning it affected the use of his back legs. He has made a complete recovery but can be just a tad bit uncoordinated at times - and pair that with his penchant for wagging his tail like a dog and sometimes he just seems floppy, we don't know how else to explain it! But not to worry - this won't affect his health in the long term and instead just makes for an endearing little quirk. F.I.P can sound scary - but treating it is one of little bean's specialties and Gorou is receiving treatment at our vet-tech founder's nursery along with several other F.I.P kitties. Wondering about the name? little bean's is run by certified nerds® and he and his entire litter were named after characters from the popular video game Genshin Impact, but don't worry, you don't have to keep the name, he doesn't recognize it we swear! But if you do know the reference we hope you'll agree its an adorable name for him (even if the character is actually a dog)

Story
Say hello to the queen of sploots! Chloe was born to a semi-feral community cat in a backyard in Los Banos, along with her 3 siblings. Her mom was the last cat in the colony scheduled for T.N.R through Feral Freedom - and was thought to be a boy, until she gave birth that is! Chloe has had a rough start in adopted life - she was diagnosed with F.I.P (feline infectious peritonitis) just 4 days after she was originally adopted. F.I.P is caused by a genetic mutation that can be triggered by stress - such as getting spayed! Unfortunately, her new owners couldn't commit to an 84-day-treatment course of injections and so Chloe came to the little bean's nursery. Chloe has completed treatment and is considered cured of F.I.P, but there were some affects of the illness that remain. During her illness her immune system was compromised and infection caused her to lose an eye. Chloe also had neuro-F.I.P, a version of the illness that affects the nervous system - as a result Chloe has very stiff back legs and walks with more of a "hobble." But don't feel sorry for this girl, Chlo-Chlo gets around just fine! She may not be able to climb but she can smack-down on kittens and threateningly hobble after them - a task she deeply enjoys. Chloe loves toys and will puff up her tail in excitement as she wrestles with a ball or crinkle toy, and she will swipe at a laser-pointer. She also has a deep fondness for sleeping on shoes and slippers, for some reason. She is also completely in love with the foster cat, Cracker Jack and follows him around the house. It is hard to explain this little charismatic disaster - but everyone who meets her ends up rooting for her, chanting "get it Chlo-Chlo!" as she chases after a much faster kitten. Chloe is truly a special little kid and she is ready to find that special someone

Story
Charlie is a super cuddly cutie looking for his forever home! A total sweetheart, Charlie loves to follow around his person anywhere they go, always willing to “help” keep their lap warm. So considerate! When there are no laps available he loves to perch on the highest surface available to survey his kingdom, no bookshelf is too tall! Charlie is not shy and is friendly to all visitors, especially those who play with him. He’s a super active boy who loves running and playing as much as possible. You won’t believe how high he can jump when going after his favorite toys! Charlie would thrive in a home with people who can play with him, potentially with another active cat/kitten 9 months or older with a slow introduction. If interested in potentially adopting this handsome fella, reach out to his current caretaker, Kelly, located in San Jose/ Campbell. Email: Kelly@kellylbanks.com Phone: 408-799-9500
