Story
Buddy was traveling my fence. I found his owner and he said he could no longer keep him because he had 2 feral cats that chased him away. I feed him and sit outside and love him. He is not feral! I have 2 inside only cats so I can’t take him in. He wants in very much. He is loving and would be a great indoor/outdoor cat. Maybe indoor only??? He is sweet and deserves someone to love him and let him in. Carol 8312479471

Story
Meet Kai, the gray and white bicolor cat! Kai came to the Shelter after their previous guardian was unable to continue caring for them. Kai would thrive in a home as the only feline as he has some big feelings about other kitties. Kai has been social with staff and volunteers since his arrival. Kai does have experience as an indoor-outdoor cat but will need management if he is in an area where there are other kitties that he would come in contact with. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.

Story
Hooray for beans! Fava, Cannellini, Garbanzo, Lentil and Edamame are all siblings. They were surrendered to the Watsonville Shelter as a result of an accidental litter. They have been shy, but soft and affectionate with staff as they wait for their new homes. We do not require they all get adopted together and anticipate they will adjust well to a variety of homes after bonding with their new family, and may do well with other cats eventually.
