There was a shelter who had a cat and Bingo was her name-o… B-I-N-G-O!Meet our lovely Bingo – the adoptable, adorable black cat. Bingo came into the Shelter after her previous guardian was unable to continue having her due to housing restriction. She previously lived in a home with children 6 and 7 years old as well as cats and dogs and did well. She has been indoors only. Her favorite things to do are sleep, nap, look out the window and use her scratching posts. She was described as a super easy cat to care for who is a sweetheart. Technically, Bingo is a senior at 6 years old (although she strikes us as still young and vibrant at heart). Adopters should be mindful that she may need more frequent vet visits in the future to help keep her in tip top shape. Bingo’s adoption fee is reduced by $40 thanks to two different funds: the Bogey Fund (a fund that draws adopter’s eyes towards often overlooked black cats in Shelters) and Shelley`s Angels (a fund that draws adopter`s eyes towards often overlooked senior cats). Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
