Olga is a sweet, independent, black tortoiseshell cat. That loves her sister Sheba very much. Sheba is also up for adoption. We adopted them as kittens 5 years ago. She uses the litter independently. She likes to play with small plastic cat balls that have small bells inside and a small toy mouse from time to time. She prefers the company of other cats and tolerates being around a small dog that leaves her alone. Olga will allow you to pick her up and also pet her occasionally, but it is usually on her terms. She spends time taking naps in the same room with familiar humans, but often runs and hides when strangers come near. We are relocating and our new home does not allow cats.

Romeo wandered in on a rainy night in November 2024. I fed him a snack and left the door ajar so he could leave when he wanted to. He didn't. Three weeks later I found his owner who came to get him. After three attempts, we gave up and he's been with me since then. He is an outdoor cat, spends a little time with me indoors (he's next to me on the desk). He is punctual about arriving for meals and is usually at the door at 6 am and again at 4:30. I love him. So, WHY am I having to let go of him?? Because he lives to hunt. Here, in downtown Sebastopol, he hunts songbirds, lizards, rats, mice, gophers, possums, and the occasional baby snake. Also, he has always felt that the whole neighborhood was his kingdom and he enters other peoples' homes at will, devours available food, and will harass their pets. He never bothers people. My neighbors have been patient but it's time for him to go. He's a good boy with a big personality.
