Story
sib: Mars Q"Do you want a sweet lap cat who wants nothing more than to be loved? Are you hesitant to get a cat because they jump on counters and tables? We are the right fit for you! Moon and Mars have cerebellar hypoplasia, which is a condition developed in-utero that prevents their cerebellum from fully forming. The cerebellum is responsible for coordinating movement and balance. As a result, they have some mobility issues. CH is often called wobbly cat syndrome. It is a harmless, non-progressive condition. It is not a disease and is not transmittable to other animals. CH cats have similar life spans and overall health as non-CH cats. You can learn more about this condition here: https://vetmed.tamu.edu/news/pet-talk/wobbly-cat-syndrome/  or with a Google search.   Moon and Mars are semi-bonded brothers but would probably be ok separated. They are both considered 'moderate CH' meaning they are mobile but are not going to be running around your house. Moon is the more mobile of the two and regularly gets up to walk around but is very content to hang out in your lap. Mars is slightly less mobile but will get up and try to walk, but would 100% rather be in your lap. They are both very affection and food motivated, so if they sense they are going to get pets or a delicious snack, they do everything they can to get to you. Moon kind of flops more than walks, but we are working on strengthening his legs so he has more confidence to walk more. Both kittens will get where they want to go when they want to go (except on high surfaces) but would really love to be lap kitties. Their little motors run like crazy when they are getting love! They have normal cat personalities-want to play, get loved, eat canned food- but these guys are extra sweet. They are able to use the litterbox with the only accommodation being a lower walled box to get in easier. They eat and drink like normal. They would be perfect for a smaller home or apartment, preferably with carpet or rugs to make it easier for them to get their footing. Please consider these sweet boys as a great addition to your home!" Are currently being introduced to dogs but are a little fearful. Kids are good.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 15, 2025, 7:45 pm

Story
Looking for a little shadow to follow you around, snuggle up in your lap, and steal your heart? Baby Kitty might just be your perfect match. Described as the sweetest love bug by our volunteers, Baby Kitty is all about affection. She will happily snuggle into your neck like a purring scarf. A true lap kitty, she’s happiest curled up close to her humans, soaking up all the love. But don’t let her cuddly side fool you—Baby Kitty is also a playful little explorer! She especially adores chasing laser pointers and showing off her playful side with a little sass and style. She gets along with other cats, but she’ll need a little time to warm up to new furry friends. And like any cat with personality, she’ll let you know (with a gentle swat) if you do something she’s not too fond of—boundaries matter! Baby Kitty is looking for a patient, loving home where she can thrive as the center of your world. Is she the one you’ve been waiting for?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 31, 2025, 11:06 am

Nutella is a little shy and bossy with other meek kitties. She's also quite sweet and attention seeking with people.  She has a lot of energy that needs an outlet.  A person/family who has a lot of time and interest in playing and spending time with her would be the best fit.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 21, 2025, 5:01 pm

Story
Drew is a shy, senior boy who's been patiently waiting for his forever home. He takes his time getting to know new people and prefers a slow, gentle approach — but once he trusts you, you'll be rewarded with affectionate head butts and quiet companionship.  Drew has made some feline friends in his shared space, including Nicos.  Once he's comfortable, he enjoys the company of other mellow cats. Drew isn't the type to seek the spotlight, but if you're someone who appreciates the quieter, deeper bonds that grow slowly, Drew is looking for a quiet home to live out his senior years.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 18, 2025, 8:20 am
