Story
Logan likes: chasing after a wand toy, watching David Attenborough documentaries, "chirping" at birds outside the window, rubbing his soft fur against your legs, relaxing beside you in bed, getting in the middle of a board game and knocking the pieces out of place, and most of all, FOOD. His dislikes include: unfamiliar territory (he needs a couple months to feel safe in a new home), being touched without his consent (he's increasingly affectionate as he gets to know you though), and other cats (although he's great with the dog in his foster home). If you're a patient person who enjoys a peaceful lifestyle, reach out and we would be happy to coordinate a meeting with him!

Story
He needs someone who is willing to give him a chance and be patient. He needs someone to show him that he is safe. Unsure of age as he is a stray, but estimating about 2yrs. I have been feeding him for the past year and he has finally decided he wants to be an indoor kitty. He came to my front door and yelled, loudly might I add, until I let him in. He is super sweet and loves attention (go slow to start, very food motivated). I have no issues petting him or holding him. He likes to lay on my lap. He is still learning to play with toys. He does well with other cats, but he should not be in a home with dogs. He is a little rough looking as he has had a hard life, but he has a beautiful shiny black coat. Unsure of how he will do with children as I do not have any, but he would probably be better suited to older children who understand boundries. He will make an excellent companion.

Story
Bug is a loveable cat who is looking for a quiet new home. He has been with us for 10 years, but with a new baby it is best for him to live his senior years with a fellow introvert. He has come a long way to manage his anxiety, he appreciates a quiet space and minimal people to help him manage. He loves ribbon wands, kicker toys, chasing after toys, and scratching on a scratch pad. After some time to adjust to a new place & person, he is very loving, rubbing against legs, following you around and napping near you, he loves pets and scratches behind the ear, and will meow for play time.He is now a senior boy but his vet has said he's in great health. Bug was saved off the streets of Chicago as a kitten and has a hard time feeling safe. We are hoping someone looking for a companion will give Bug love.We would appreciate photos and videos as he gets settled.

Story
Meat Mocha, a beautiful petite Torty girl who is ready to leave her Foster days behind and find the loving forever Home she deserves! Mocha’s story began when she was brought to the Ionia county shelter. Little did everyone know, she was about to become a mama! Shortly after arriving, Mocha gave birth to three beautiful kittens – Espresso, Latte and Chai. Thankfully, Michele’s Rescue stepped in and gave the sweet little family a place to grow grow. Mocha was an amazing mama. She was incredibly protective of her babies and made sure they were safe, warm and well cared for. She devoted herself to raising her kittens, and now that they are old enough to begin their own lives, it’s finally Mocha’s turned to be spoiled! After everything mocha has been through, she deserves a home where she can relax, be loved and enjoy being someone special girl. No more worrying about babies – just lots of cuddles, cozy naps, and a family who will love her for the wonderful little cat she is. Mocha gave her babies the very best start in life. Now it’s her turn to have the very best life! Could you be the forever Family Mocha has been waiting for? You can apply today at michele’srescue.com to meet this sweet girl. ##2742408##

Story
Hi everyone, I'm Jas! My foster mom calls me Jazzy-Jas since I love playing and have such a zest for life!! You may have heard about me, I was hit by a car and pulled myself to the side of the road as I endured a broken hip and leg. Michele's Rescue came to my rescue, and I had surgery to correct my leg, and I also suffered from the worst case of tapeworm and roundworm that the rescue has ever seen.I am finally all better and I know that I've been given a second chance at life! All that's missing now is to find my forever family - ideally they are a family that is looking for a sweet kitten that loves to be held, cuddled, and also played with (that's me!!) Please apply to michelesrescue.com to schedule a meet and greet with me soon! ##2813524##
