Pumpkin is a beautiful long-haired girl with a diva personality and gorgeous black fur that truly deserves to be pampered. Pictures simply don’t do her justice. While she may look glamorous, Pumpkin is also a senior girl who deserves to spend her golden years in the comfort of a loving home. Pumpkin can be very sweet and affectionate once she trusts you. She enjoys attention, head scratches, and brushing, but always on her own terms. She’s the kind of cat who appreciates someone who understands her boundaries, respects her cues, and lets her take the lead. In return, you’ll earn the trust of a loyal companion with plenty of personality. She received a lion’s cut after arriving with some matting, and she’s feeling much more comfortable now. Now that her beautiful dark coat has grown back in she’ll need a home committed to helping maintain her luxurious fur with gentle grooming and patience. Pumpkin would do best in a calmer home and is not the biggest fan of other cats or dogs. Older children who can understand and respect her signals may be okay for her. Pumpkin isn’t looking for just any home, she’s looking for the right match. Someone patient, kind, and understanding who will appreciate her independent spirit and love her exactly as she is.

Meet Vader! Don't let the name fool you-this little guy has already joined the light side! At around 10 weeks old, Vader is a sweet, quiet boy and all it it takes is a few gentle pets to activate his purr motor-and trust us, the force is strong with this one! Vader is currently in a foster home with young children, proving that even this former "Dark Lord" has a heart of gold. He's gentle, affectionate, and would love a family to call his own. His foster mom says he loves to cuddle! If you've been searching the galaxy for your new best friend, your mission may be complete. May the force be with you...and hopefully, with Vader in his forever home! Vader is neutered, microchipped, current on age appropriate vaccines. He is FIV/FeLV/heartworm tested and negative for all. He has had a fecal parasite screen and did test positive for a few different parasites-some which can transfer to other pets and to humans if his feces are orally ingested. We recommend keeping his litter box clean and separate from other animals in the home, cleaning it frequently, and washing hands well after cleaning the litter box until it is known that his parasites are gone. He is currently on dewormer. Meet Lovebug! This sweet little girl lives up to her name. She loves to purr and is so sweet. She was found as a stray so we don’t know much about her past life. She came to us pretty sick, at first we were scared it was cancer. But with some medications and love, she improved! She seems to have some underlying chronic inflammatory condition of her lungs, possibly asthma. Could also be allergies, we are not sure. But with periodic steroid injections, she gets comfortable and has shown improvement. Lovebug seems to have a sensitive stomach anytime she is given canned food, but she does great on her dry food. She does well with other cats and all humans-children too. We believe she is older, possibly 10-11 years old. She is a petite little girl, about 7.2 pounds. She would love to find a home to rest in and be around people. Chewie, aka Chewbacca, is ready to find his fur-ever home! Chewie was found as a stray so we don't know about his past life. We are estimating he is about 3 years old. Chewie is SUCH a sweetheart. He loves cuddles, he loves attention and he is very friendly! When Chewie came to us he had a swollen paw most likely from some wound/injury he had gotten outside. But with some medications and love he is back to normal! On his exam with the veterinarian we did find out he has a low grade heart murmur. Chest radiographs were taken and nothing of concern was noted, but annual checkovers are important to monitor his heart murmur. Chewie is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, FIV/FeLV/Heartworm negative. He has a negative fecal test-negative for all parasites. He is currently roommates with another cat and does well with her. Meet Mew! When Mew first came to us as a stray, we were concerned with her condition. She came in with infected eyes and wounds over her face (see photo). After she got some love, care, and medications, she improved in just a few days! Mew does need a special home. She tested positive for FIV which stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. This means she will have a weakened immune system which can lead her to be more prone to infections. Despite this, she can still live a full and happy life! FIV is transmitted to other cats via bite wounds. While we do not think Mew would bite another cat, this isn't something we can control and we want to keep everyone protected. Therefore, we will not adopt her out to a home that has cats in the home *unless* if they are also FIV positive. She can go to a home with dogs as FIV cannot be transmitted to dogs. We believe Mew is about 8 weeks old. She is beautiful, sweet and full of spunk! She is spayed, current on vaccines, and has a negative fecal test (negative for all parasites). Meet Cassie! We took in Joy and Cassie together. They do very well together and we would love to find them a home together, but we believe they would also do okay apart. We estimate they are between 2-3 years old. Joy and Cassie are both friendly and sweet, but they are shy girls. They love treats! Cassie is more brown and Joy is more white.
