Story
Meet Roxy, a curious, playful, and affectionate 1-year-old cat who’s thriving in her foster home! Roxy plays hard and loves hard. She’s happiest zooming around, climbing her cat tree, sprinting through her tunnel, and turning absolutely anything into a toy. She’ll explore your cabinets, walk across your laptop, and keep a close eye on whatever you’re doing. She’s a chatty girl too, and she’ll make sure you always know exactly what she wants! When she’s done adventuring, Roxy becomes a total sweetheart. She loves being held, petted, cuddled, and curled up right beside her people. At night she happily claims the human bed as her own and prefers to sleep right next to you. Roxy can be sensitive to loud, unexpected noises like thunderstorms or fireworks. She may take some time and space to adjust in a new environment, but once settled, she bonds deeply and seeks out attention. She can get mouthy in a playful, overstimulated way, so she may do best in a home without young children. Her foster does not have other pets, so her compatibility with them is unknown. If you’re looking for an affectionate, spirited companion who will fill your home with love, laughter, and a bit of mischief, Roxy might be your perfect match! Roxy does not do well with loud unexpected noises (thunderstorms and fireworks). She needs her own space and takes some time to adjust at first. I do not have other pets or kids, so I am not sure how she would do with those. She does bite in a playful manner, so my thought is that she would not be a good fit for young kids.

Story
Cinder is about 8 years old and she is anxiously awaiting a new forever home where she can be loved the way that she deserves. She was recently rescued by a kind lady after learning that she had been kicked out of her home after a new girlfriend moved in and unfortunately in this instance “kicked out” is literally true because each time Cinder tried to go back to the only home she ever knew, her previous owner would kick her away from the door. She had been left outside to fend for herself and when she was rescued she was very malnourished and had lost a lot of weight. If she hadn’t been rescued when she was, it’s hard to tell how much longer she may have survived. She has now received a full checkup including blood work and will have a dental cleaning before going to a new home which is a great benefit to an adopter. Cinder enjoys sitting on her foster parents’ laps but she also likes to have some alone time. She enjoys attention and although she isn’t particularly playful currently, that may be because of the small space that she is currently staying in. She has a cat tree that she enjoys greatly and that will go with her to a new home. We don’t have a lot of history for Cinder so we can’t tell you how she is with children so a home with only adults and older children may be best. We believe that she lived with other cats previously but we don’t know what their interactions were. In her foster home, she currently isn’t a fan of the small dog in the home so perhaps a home without dogs may be preferred. Cinder is a social eater who enjoys having company when she eats. She also can be a little chatty when she has something to say. She can get overstimulated when she is being petted so she may nip (not bite) or swap to let you know that she has had enough. When she is picked up, she likes to climb on your shoulder and rub her face against you and she loves attention. Can you find room in your heart and home for this sweet cat to help her on her journey to a better life where she can be loved and treasured?

Story
Ritz is a five-year-old white-and-grey cat who knows what he likes—a calm, predictable routine and plenty of quiet. He would likely do best in a home without young or loud children or other pets, where he can enjoy his peace and the occasional gentle pet at his own pace. Ritz may prefer the quiet life, but with patience and consistency, he can be a loyal and affectionate companion who appreciates the finer things in life: cozy spots, soft pets, and a calm household.

Story
Whiskey is a seven-month-old brown and white tabby who is very shy and still learning how to feel comfortable around people. He is undersocial and will need a calm home, along with plenty of time and patience, to help him build confidence at his own pace. With consistency and gentle interactions, Whiskey has the potential to slowly come out of his shell and show his true personality to someone willing to let him take the lead.

Story
Lars is a four-year-old orange and white cat who is shy in new places and around new people. He currently spends much of his day tucked away in his bed, taking time to observe and feel safe in his surroundings. With patience and gentle interactions, Lars slowly gains trust and confidence. He will stretch out to sniff hands and, once comfortable, gently bump into hands when pets stop, asking for a little more reassurance. Lars has no previous history of living with other animals or children and would do best with someone who understands the quiet, gradual nature of earning his trust.
