Story
I am helping my son's fiancee. Her sister had this cat and was not able to care for him properly related to her depression. His fur was very matted and dirty. I have had him for about a month and was finally able to get into the Vet for a visit. He had to be shaved and given antibiotics for the condition of his skin. He will be returning on the 10th of February for rabies and distemper shots. I will not be able to afford the FIV or Feline Leukemia tests but he has been an Indoor cat. He is 9 years old, very friendly loves the brush but he is obese.

Story
Location: Bloomington, MN Patty is a quiet, gentle soul who is making steady progress at her own pace. She’s a big fan of routine and calm environments, and she especially loves mealtime—her heart belongs to Sheba Pâté, which she’ll happily come out to enjoy while you sit nearby. One of Patty’s favorite activities is bird and squirrel watching. Give her a window, and she’ll happily spend the day observing the world outside. She’s also a model litter box user with perfect manners since day one. If you’re looking for a tidy companion, Patty takes her “housekeeping” duties seriously—she even tries to bury leftover food and makes an earnest attempt to clean up if she tips over the trash bin. Patty is still very shy when it comes to affection. She’ll cautiously approach to sniff and check you out, but she’s not quite ready for pets yet. Her sweet, expressive eyes say it all—she wants to trust, and with a very patient and understanding person, that trust will continue to grow. She loves catnip toys, climbs her cat tower like a little superhero, never chews on cords, and is wonderfully quiet—she rarely meows. Maybe, with her forever family, she’ll find her voice in time. Patty is looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. For the right person, helping Patty feel safe and loved will be an incredibly rewarding journey. 💛 --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Columbia Height, MN Stick Stickly, affectionately nicknamed “Sprout” by her foster mom, is becoming sweeter each and every day. She’s still getting used to being around humans, but once she warms up to you, she has a lot of love to give. Sprout enjoys pets and is learning how to ask for them—and when you find just the right spot, she might purr so hard she starts to drool! Her favorite toys include springs and ball-in-track toys, which keep her happily entertained. Sprout is curious about the resident cat, though she prefers limited interaction beyond a few sniffs, and she’s respectful about keeping her distance from the dog. Her absolute favorite activity is cuddling with her sister. Because of this, her foster mom believes Sprout would do best if adopted together with her sister, or into a home that already has another friendly cat. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Chuck & Dons Chanhassen Meet Acorn — a super sweet little girl with a playful spirit and a snuggly heart! She loves to rough-and-tumble with her foster brothers and can absolutely hold her own during playtime. Despite her tiny start as the runt of the litter, Acorn is growing strong and confident. Acorn is wonderfully brave and social — she isn’t fazed by the resident Husky mix at all and will happily curl up next to her for nap time. When playtime is over, Acorn’s favorite thing is settling in close for cuddles and purring. She’s been raised in a caring foster home, so she’s well-socialized, confident and used to being adored. Acorn does have juvenile cataracts, which means she’ll need regular veterinary follow-ups as she grows. Right now, they don’t affect her at all -- she plays, explores, and enjoys life just like any other kitten! This affectionate, fearless little girl is ready to find her furever human to snuggle up with and share all her love. Story
Location: Maple Grove, MN Hello, I'm Angel! I'm sure you can see why-just look at my beautiful white fur! I'm a 12-year-old senior kitty with a heart full of love to give. I may not hear as well as I used to (I am deaf) so it can take me a little time to feel safe and comfortable in new surroundings. But once I do, I'll shower you with the loudest purrs, sweet nuzzles, and endless cuddles. I also enjoy curling up in a cozy spot by the window, watching the birds, and basking in the sunshine. But don't let my age fool you-I still have plenty of playful energy, especially when a feather toy is involved! I'd thrive in a calm, peaceful and patient home where I can get all the love and attention I deserve. I'm good with older children and would be happiest as the only pet. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
