Story

He is an 8-year-old seal point Siamese (turning 9 on June 23) that we adopted as a kitten and has been a loved part of our family ever since. He is neutered and front declawed. He is very sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented—he enjoys attention, being near his humans, and has done great with children (including being around a baby) and dogs. He is fully litter box trained, but in a multi-cat household he has shown stress-related marking behavior. Because of this, we are looking for a home where he can be the only cat or in a very low-cat environment where he can feel secure. He would do best with an experienced owner who understands cat behavior and can give him a calm, stable space. He is a loving, gentle companion who thrives when he has a strong bond with his person. He should be an indoor-only cat.

Melo is a fantastic pet, and we will miss her a great deal. Due to an approaching move and a new baby, we are looking for a new home for her. She is ~9 years old. We originally adopted her from the Capital Humane Society in Lincoln, NE in 2017.

Story

Pricilla has been with the family for 14 years. We are selling our home and moving to Texas. She is a very sweet cat and she has been around kids since very young. She was also raised with a Chihuahua who passed away a month ago. She needs a stable home with someone that can take care of her. She loves to cuddle and be in someone lap when watching television. She’s affectionate once she warms up to the person. She has shown signs of anxiety as the home she’s known has changed. She’s currently in a family home and noticed she’s shy and hiding under the beds. She sometimes pees outside litter box so a pee pad was placed under the litter box. I believe the behavior issue is Anxiety as she’s 14 years old. I need someone that has the patience to retrain her and care for her. She has some arthritis. Her vaccination is up to date. I take her to Raymore Veterinary Center.
