Story
George is a big boy, about 15 pounds, and oh my goodness is he a sweetheart! He loves to have his head rubbed and cuddle with his people, and should you dare forget, George will make it known that your attention is requested. He will sleep in bed with you to snuggle if you allow it, too. This sweetheart is amazing with young kids, just hanging out and sitting with them while they play. He's such a laid-back, gentle guy. George is not a fan of other cats, but a chill dog with cat experience could be a good match with an appropriate introduction. The Pet Connection would be happy to guide you through that process, of course. George is FIV+ but he has no known health problems. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info on George! He's in the KC metro. #thepetconnection

Story
Patience tippy taps her little white toes when you pet her; it is the cutest thing on the planet! She is a tad shy at first, but is also sweet, loving, and wants to be with people who love her. She is such a doll. And Patience has quite a story to tell. During her spay surgery at a high-volume city shelter, someone suspected that Patience had pneumonia, so she was slated for euthanasia. An x-ray was taken, which showed no pneumonia but reportedly showed a *severely* enlarged heart. Her surgery was completed and she was posted as "rescue only," which meant if a rescue group didn't quickly pull her, she would be euthanized. The Pet Connection knows that even big-hearted kitties can live happy lives with medical support, so we pulled out all the stops and saved Patience with not even a moment to spare. What a relief to know she was safe! Then we got Patience's medical records, including her x-ray, and had three different veterinarians take a look. None of them could see an enlarged heart, pneumonia, or ANYTHING wrong with this sweet, sweet baby girl! Now this special girl (with her regular-sized heart and but tippy tappy toes!) needs an extra special home. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info on Patience. She's in Beloit, KS, but transport is available to the right home.

Story
This pretty orange boy is Garfield. He's only about a year old and looking for a home because his devoted dad passed away from cancer shortly after being diagnosed. Garfield's dad helped rescue so many kitties in his neighborhood while he lived there. Three were his babies, though: Garfield, Smokey, and Lovey. (Garfield and Smokey are littermates.) None of these cats have to go to the same home, but if you're willing to open your heart and home to more than one, they (and we) sure would love for that to happen! We want to find each of them wonderful homes with people who will love them as much as their dad did. It's the least we can do. Garfield is a typical orange tabby: a sweet, loving, outgoing boy. He hasn't been around young kids or dogs; older kids would be fine, as long as they're appropriate with him. He gets along great with cats. Please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information on Garfield. He's in the KC metro.

Story
This pretty girl is Lovey. She's only about two years old and looking for a home because his devoted dad passed away from cancer shortly after being diagnosed. Lovey's dad helped rescue so many kitties in his neighborhood while he lived there. Three were his babies, though: Lovey, Garfield, and Smokey. (Garfield and Smokey are littermates.) None of these cats have to go to the same home, but if you're willing to open your heart and home to more than one, they (and we) sure would love for that to happen! We want to find each of them wonderful homes with people who will love them as much as their dad did. It's the least we can do. As her name suggests, Lovey is a sweet, loving affectionate kitty. She enjoys getting all the pets from her person (or people, the more pets, the better!). She hasn't been around young kids or dogs; older kids would be fine, as long as they're appropriate with her. She gets along great with other cats. Please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information on Lovey. She's in the KC metro.

Story
Pico is less than a year old. Has never had any issues with humans. Doesn’t care much for dogs. He has had issues with other cats in the past but has not been around one since being neutered. He is super playful and curious and loves to cuddle. Took him in on emergency as he did not get along with a friends other cats but I sadly cannot keep him. I would love for him to go to a good home
