My name may offend some but know my human mom named me this not only as a shortcut for the year I was born but mainly as a reminder that life, adorableness and sweet cuddles was still possible during a time of quarantine, uncertainty and confusion. My favorite person has moved to Minnesota and we both decided that it is just too darn cold and far for my Southern gentleman bones to travel. I miss him a lot and still look for him at times so please love me a lot and know I will adore you in return. I grew up with several other kitty friends in the home. We all enjoyed being inside with short outside jaunts as I need to make sure my home is always safe and I am after all a curious chap. I am also an excellent "food cop" letting my family know when the food bowls were lacking sustenance and is unacceptable IMO. I can live indoors but may want to check out the neighborhood so be patient with my nosey nature! I don't want to lose another family or person. Please be my furever home.

Story

Samora was adopted by my family from a rescue in 2007 when she was about 9 months old. She was so sweet and would not stop purring unlike the other cats at the rescue so we knew she was the perfect fit for us. Samora is now 18 and has been such an amazing cat, who loves to cuddle, make biscuits and play. As she has gotten older, she definitely loves her sleep and and sunbathing by the window. She is affectionate, calm, and loving and deserves a loving home. She spends most of her time sleeping and snuggling up to people, making her very easy going and easy to care for. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep her and would love for her to go to a home where she will be loved and cared for.

Bonded with Diego.  Mystique will be shy at first but once she trusts you she is very social and wants to be wherever her humans are. She doesn't like to be picked up or held but LOVES to cuddle in your lap on the couch or beside you in bed as long as you let her initiate it. She LOVES to be pet & talked to. She's very chatty she'll follow you around and carry on a conversation. She's loves toys and she plays fetch. She's very good with other friendly kitties but gets picked on by bullyish cats. Good with older kids. (young kids probably too noisy & active for her) Loves all 3 of her foster humans not just one (meaning not bonding with just 1). She is IN LOVE with foster friend cat Diego!
