Story
LUCY: Trapped by Chris Ekstedt (1615 York Ave, High Point, NC 27265 (xxx) xxx-xxxx ) behind George’s Pizza in High Point, NC on 2/3/2024. She is a non-aggressive, gentle feral, spayed, tested, vaccinated, very easy to handle and ear tipped. I am 76 years old and cannot keep this cat as I have 2 other special needs cats, cannot get a legacy plan for her and I am not well. I have been helping feed Lucy for 2 years behind George’s Pizza in High Point. When we heard that the site would be destroyed (developed) we (the cooks, myself & bartender) decided to get her out of there since we could no longer feed cats there. She was skittish and would keep about 10 feet away from the cook and I. I put up a camera for a while and saw that she would visit the site several times a day and night to feed over a 2 year period. She seemed very dependent on the site for food and also didn't look quite well. I took her to the vet and he determined she had a URI that is now treated and fully recovered.

Story
Lily is a beautiful cat that is happy at home. She doesn't like for strangers to touch her. She needs to be sedated when groomed or examined by a vet as she gets very upset. She is 5 years old with no health problem. She needs a home with other cats or her as the only pet, but she doesn't like dogs. We will include her cat tree, litter box, etc. She is front declawed. We will be very selective to be sure she gets the perfect home.

Story
Duffy is a sweet, laid back fella with a goofy side. Duffy loves to be near people and he loves toys! Duffy would enjoy having cat friends, but may also do well as an only cat. Approximately 1-2 years old. He's neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his happy forever! *Duffy is being fostered privately (not through a rescue). *Potential adopters will be asked to have an initial phone interview before scheduling a meet and greet.

Story
Little Baby was born in 2013.  Her human parents became ill and were no longer able to care for her. This sweet girl needs a low-cal diet to keep her weight down and a sofa to spend her days with her humans.  Little Baby is excellent with humans although she may take longer to settle in and warm up to her new family. She would do well as an only pet in the home as long as she has plenty of attention from her humans. The adoption fee for Little Baby together is $100. Adoptions fees include all age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, testing for FIV and FeLV, wormer, and any additional veterinary care necessary for each cat.  Feline Friends adoption requirements include the following: A completed adoption application and adoption contract. We will contact your references, as well as your veterinarian as an additional reference. We may make a home visit before completing the adoption process. We offer a two-week trial period for each adoption. This helps ensure that the kitty you picked is the perfect match for your family. After two weeks, the adoption fee is non-refundable. You may email felinefriendsnc@gmail.com for an application or fill out an application online at www.felinefriendsnc.com/application.html April 25, 2024, 5:03 pm

Our adoption fees are $100 for one cat and $175 for a pair. Adoptions fees include all age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, testing for FIV and FeLV, wormer, and any additional veterinary care necessary for each cat.
