Story
Meet Hazel! Hazel is a beautiful torti mix girl born around June 2, 2026,
and she is the perfect combination of sweet, gentle, cuddly, and playful.
She has a soft, loving personality and enjoys being close to her people,
often following them from room to room to see what everyone is up to. Hazel
is also quite the little observer! She likes to sit back and watch the
action before deciding when it's time to jump in. One of Hazel's favorite
things is a cozy nap on warm laundry or a soft blanket. She also enjoys
being brushed, playing with feather wand toys, and spending time with her
people. She has a funny habit of watching her sisters wrestle from a safe
distance, carefully deciding whether she should join in. Eventually, she
works up her courage and suddenly jumps right into the middle of the fun!
Hazel has been around children ages 7-12 and does well with them. We believe
she could happily live with children of any age as long as they understand
how to be gentle with her. She has also been around other cats-especially
her sisters, Salem and Autumn-and they all do wonderfully together. Hazel
could absolutely be adopted with one of her sisters, but she is also
perfectly happy to find a home of her own. Hazel is litter box trained and
does not need someone home with her all day. She would be a wonderful
addition to just about any family, including a first-time pet owner. She is
adaptable, affectionate, playful, and easygoing, making her a great choice
for a variety of homes. Hazel is spayed and current on her vaccines. If you

We only accept Adoption Applications within a certain radius of where are
volunteers are based. Currently, we are able to accept applications from
Mecklenburg and Union counties (NC), and parts of Cabarrus (NC), Lancaster
(SC), and York (SC) counties
