A low-cost pain medication has been working wonderfully for her, so her new family will need to immediately establish care with a veterinarian so she can fully enjoy her retirement years. Another low-energy animal in the home could also help provide Poppyseed a boost of confidence for her transition, but it is not required.

Gwyn would thrive as an indoor cat with a cozy space that belongs to a loving, gentle person, a warm patch of sunshine, and toys to play with. Since she is still working on building her confidence, Gwyn would also do best with another feline to help her navigate the rest of her new home.
