Meet Appa. He’s a 7 year old Bombay shorthaired cat with the loudest purr you’ve ever heard. I swear you can feel it through your whole body. He’s a little chunky, eats about half a cup of food a day (plus whatever he steals from his brothers bowl). Appa is a quiet, chill cat. He loves a calm house. He’ll happily sit in your lap while you watch TV or read and just cuddle up. He’s loyal, sweet, and honestly the best cat. The reason we have to rehome him is because of stress. My daughter is 2½ and on the spectrum, and no matter what we’ve tried, we can’t get her to consistently respect his space. We even gave him his own getaway room, but it hasn’t been enough. When Appa gets stressed he develops cystitis, which is a urinary issue that can cause blockages. Blockages can be life threatening, so this isn’t something we can ignore. His health has to come first. Appa needs a calm, loving, household. No toddlers, no aggressive animals. Just a chill home with lots of love.

Story

Olive is a very affectionate, sweet girl. She would sit in your lap all day and cuddle with you all night if you let her. She is vocal - she lets you know when she is hungry. She is bonded with her brother Berry, who we also need to rehome with her. She cuddles with our dog and is very patient with our toddler. But Olive has a sensitive stomach. We are no longer able to afford the expensive food or care that she needs. For a while, we were making her food using ground chicken and cat food powder. But my husband lost his job and our money is very tight, so we cannot afford to keep doing that. The cheaper food seems to upset her stomach. Berry is a shy boy who takes some time to warm up to people. He's playful and likes chasing shadows, lights. He is also great with dogs and kids. Berry & Olive both need dental work that we cannot afford. They are very sweet cats and deserve a family that can pay for their needs.

I unfortunately lost my housing and I’m a new mom I have to move asap so can’t keep her, she is 10 years old her birthday is 5/15. She has some digestive problems now that she is older she does spit up a lot, she’s super sweet and has been an only pet her whole life. She keeps to herself unless she is in heat then she is cuddle bug. I love her dearly and it’s killing me that I have to give her up I just want her to go to someone who can give her the care she needs in her old age which I can’t provide anymore. She has a big personality at times you’ll know she is there she love talking to you she meows and follows you around having conversations with you, I hope she is a joy to you as she is to me. She is strictly an indoor cat she has never been outside.
