Story
This handsome dude is a real charmer.  After being abandoned by his previous owner when she suddenly moved out of the country, he joined his foster family and made sure everyone knew he was the boss!  He is fine with other cats after a slow introduction, but would probably prefer to be a one and only.  When he was examined by the vet, it was discovered that he had a significant heart murmur.  It does not slow him down at all.  He is so sweet, full of life, lots of fun, and craves attention from humans.  The hope is that he will grown out of the murmur, but if not, he may not live as long as we would love to see.  He deserves a wonderful life with a loving human, regardless of his condition and he will be a wonderful companion for some lucky somebody!  Do you have the heart to share your home with this super cat? Story
Say hello to Sloan! Don’t let her small size fool you, she is queen of her castle. Currently at her foster home she reigns with a gentle but iron fist. She gets the top perch in the cat tree and preferred seating at the window. She is a very social cat with her foster brothers and enjoys playing with them constantly, she lifts never even a whisker to groom herself and her gentlemen in waiting serve her dutifully.  Sloan is very shy around people, even among her foster parents. She is a kitty who will absolutely need her space around her new home. For her foster family it took a few weeks to leave her unicorn house, and they ended up bringing her and her unicorn house into the living room to get her out of her shell.  She may hiss, but really she is just a gentle soul, never a scratch or a bite, just a big cattitude until you pick her up and then it’s just a little adorable squeak.  Sloan would do best in a home with other kitties to worship her and play with her.  Her favorite thing in the world is little toy mice and her temptations puree treats. If you are interested in adopting Sloan, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 50 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Story
This little spice girl is definitely a free spirit. She will let you hold her, and purrs softly when petted with a sweet content look on her face. But it might not be for long because she has things to do and places to go! She and her BFF, Elmira, chase each other throughout the house, climb the cat furniture on the walls at an amazing speed, and play with toys back and forth. When she calms down to rest, her favorite spot is a person’s lap or somewhere very near a human. She will also snuggle with her bestie for grooming and naps. At bedtime, she likes to lay on the person’s side or by their feet. She likes light face rubs, chin scratches, and of course the rest of her body to be pet, especially when she’s in your lab. That’s when you get to hear the purr motor really rev up. She is also not shy in telling you what she wants. Whether it’s treats, pets, wet food, or your food. Even though she doesn’t get human food, that hasn’t stopped her from being all up in her foster’s space begging for scraps. You will also never have to worry about being in that scary bathroom by yourself. Paprika will follow you everywhere and make sure the shower curtain doesn’t attack you! She is not a fan of the dog most of the time, he is a bit annoying and tries to chase her when she’s playing. She has no problem letting him know to calm down and get out of her space. She would be fine with dogs in the home and would either tolerate or ignore them. She’ll even lay on the couch or snuggle with her bestie by the dog if he is being calm. She seems to get along with the older cats fine, but she may be too much energy for them. She gets along better with the cats/kittens that match her energy. She’s never met kids but would be great with them, especially if they played with her. She doesn’t seem to have a problem with strange humans either. She doesn’t greet them, but she also doesn’t run away. They can approach her for pets and play with no problems. If you’re looking for a little extra spice in your life, this is the girl for you!  If you are interested in adopting Paprika, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 50 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Story
China is very affectionate. She's sweet, but can be a bit serious at times. She doesn’t play with humans often because she lived on the streets and never learned to play but likes human company. China's favorite activity is sunbathing and takes this hobby very seriously. She a bit of a loner but is nonetheless majestic and expects all the treats and worshipping from her humans. Her favorite treat is boiled chicken but she isn't picky and loves all food. She gets along well with other cats. She likes to sleep high up (towers are a good option for her).    If you are interested in adopting China, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 50 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption.
