You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Me Stripe aka Bobby socks is quite the personality. He loves weaving around my legs, watching me brush my teeth and snuggling in bed with me. I think he believes humans are not worthy of stroking his silky black fur, he prefers to be in charge of giving the affection. He was born on the 5th of July with 6 other siblings in rescue. Only he and Stripe and Indepenance are still searching for their purever family. He is fully vetted and microchipped. To inquire more about him please email us at stfureverfreedomar@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 24, 2026, 11:11 am

Story
Hi, I'm Gemma! I'm a petite 2-year-old weighing just over 5 pounds. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but once I feel safe, I'm a very sweet and gentle girl.I'm not a big fan of being picked up and prefer to keep all four paws on the ground. I feel most comfortable when you sit quietly and let me come to you. I love gentle pets, especially chin scratches and behind-the-ear rubs, and when I'm really content, my purr can get surprisingly loud for such a tiny cat. I don't scratch or bite, just the occasional soft love nibble when I'm enjoying attention.I spend a lot of my day napping, and between naps I love sitting at the window watching the birds at the feeder outside. I could and do spend hours observing them. In the evenings, I get the zoomies and enjoy chasing my bell ball. I'm happy playing on my own, but once I'm comfortable, I also enjoy playing together.I would do best in a quiet home without young children and with someone patient who understands that shy cats just need a little time to build trust. Once I do, I'll be a loyal and loving companion! Primary Color: Tabby- Grey Secondary Color: White Weight: 6 Age: 2yrs 1mths 3wks

Story
Gary (grey) and Charlotte (tabby) siblings that came into the WCAC together. I am hopeful that the two can be adopted together. These two precious kittens are not cuddlers, but they enjoy being rubbed on their head and back. Charlotte has a sweet purr, and Gary is working on his purr. They enjoy being together and have wrestling matches that are comical. They enjoy grooming each other. They approach easily for a churro treat which they love.  They use the litter box like pros. Both of them enjoy playing with various toys. Their adopter needs to be a person that is patient and willing to work with them. They are trying to get use to humans and living in a home. They would probably be best in a home without dogs and young children. If you would like to set up a meet and greet, please contact WCAC. Story
I love playing with toys, and I'm a huge cuddler. My foster family calls me Mr. Meowlers and says I'm the most lap-catty cat they've ever fostered. Everyone is my friend.I'm looking to live it up in pure cuddly bliss. I'll be your best buddy, and I am happiest sitting on the couch, watching TV with you, and soaking up attention.I arrived at the shelter as a stray and needed a bath when I first came in. Even soaking wet, I lived up to my name and sat there looking completely majestic.I'm what they call a super cat: curious, sweet, and full of personality. I've got a distinctive meowel, a ton of charm, and there's truly no other cat like me. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 7.2 Age: 12yrs 3mths 2wks

Story
Toasted Marshmallow is a 5-year-old calico who's extremely shy and needs a patient adopter who's comfortable with slow, gentle introductions. Her past has made her cautious, but consistent reassurance and a quiet space will help her feel secure. She's food-motivated - especially when it comes to wet food - and she isn't afraid to be vocal-she will sing when she want your attention! With time and understanding, Toasted Marshmallow can begin to build trust at her own pace. She is up to date on vaccinations, flea prevention, is microchipped, and will be spayed prior to going home. This cat should be kept indoors at all times for their safety. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Primary Color: Calico Weight: 8.5 Age: 5yrs 3mths 3wks

Story
Klaus is the kind of guy everyone needs in their life; a calm, confident, and dependable sweetheart. Whether sitting by your side while you work from home, or entertaining you with his conversational skills, he's sure to provide you with all the emotional support you need. In return, he expects a home with no less than his fill of snuggles and treats galore. While he's still a younger guy who enjoys some play time, he's a gentle soul and purr machine who prefers to make lap biscuits and receive cheek massages.Klaus has tested positive for both feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia virus (FeLV), two viruses that weaken his immune system and have no known cure. He should be able to live a normal day-to-day life with extra care and vigilance, though he will likely require more frequent vet visits and, depending on the stage of FeLV he has, may have a shorter-than-average lifespan. Interested adopters can reach out to the shelter or foster for more information about these viruses to determine if Klaus is the right fit for them.Because of his FeLV diagnosis, which can spread to other cats via casual contact, Klaus should go to an indoor-only home without other cats present, or with other FeLV+ cats. Neither FIV nor FeLV are contagious to other animals, but Klaus has not been tested with dogs while in foster care. He may be a good fit for older/calm children due to his tolerant and easygoing nature, but the best home for him would be one that is quiet and stress-free to help manage his diagnoses.Klaus is up to date on vaccines and flea/tick prevention, and he is already neutered and ready to go home. For more information on him, please reach out to his foster, Esme, at esmechiara@gmail.com. She has nothing but wonderful things to say about him, and she can't think of a cat more deserving of a loving home. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Tabby- Brown Weight: 12.75 Age: 5yrs 2mths 2wks
