Story
Bella is a beautiful, incredibly soft 11-year-old Calico looking for a peaceful place to live out her golden years. Her family lovingly calls her "Garfield" because her absolute favorite activities are eating, napping, and enjoying the stillness of a quiet room. Her Perfect Home: The Vibe: A calm, quiet environment. A retired senior or someone who works from home would be her absolute dream match. Kids & Pets: She would do best as the only pet and in a home without children under 5. While she has never shown any aggression to people, she simply prefers a gentle, slow-paced lifestyle. Indoor Luxury: She is an indoor cat but enjoys fresh air on a porch—just leave the door open so she knows her safe space is right there! Bella will get update shots. She was an indoor only cat. She missing belly hair from over-grooms from anxiety, but say” say no licking or lay down” then she will stop. She is independent, resilient , adorable, loving, senior cat! She love getting pets on her back!

Story
Adoptable Mikala — A Gentle Soul Looking for Someone to Believe in Her 💜🐾Some cats take a little longer to trust, and that's okay. 💕Four-year-old Mikala is slowly discovering that people can be kind, and every day she becomes a little braver. She now gets excited when anyone enters our catio room and gets up to welcome them! She is still hesitant with pets from hands, but if you happen to be holding a back scratcher, you'll quickly become one of her favorite people!Mikala loves gentle affection and a peaceful environment where she can move at her own pace. She isn't looking for perfection—just someone patient enough to let her bloom. The day she decides you're her person will make every moment of waiting worth it.She does not seem to mind her catio room neighbors when she explores through the room, so we think she will be fine in a home with other cats. If you've ever loved a shy cat, you know there's nothing quite like earning their trust. Mikala is ready to find the family who will give her the time, understanding, and love she's been waiting for.Come meet this beautiful girl and see if your heart is the one she's been searching for. 💙📍 730 Church Street New Kensington, PA📝 Adoption Application: https://form.jotform.com/213275062626049📧 adoptions@animalprotectors.net📞 (724) 339-7388

Story
Dottie (Black and white) and Luna (black) are sisters and very bonded (they need to be adopted together). After they were kicked out of their house with 5 and 7 week old kittens, they were spotted and taken in for fostering (owner relinquished them). Dottie and Luna are very territorial. It's suspected that is from having to protect their kittens outdoors. (The kittens were adopted out last Fall). They are slowly getting used to my cats but there are still some altercations. I feel they would do best together in a home with no pets, or after established in a home, introduced to younger kittens. Dottie was a great mom. She even nursed a foster kitten and Luna's older kittens. They are very playful and sweet, and both love belly rubs and getting brushed. Dottie did need steroid injections (twice) for snoring sounds. It is most likely she has a nasal polyp which is just treated with steroids. I have heard her snore occasionally, but not constantly or heard breathing congestion noise when awake as of late. That will be something the new owner will need to monitor for.
