Meet Holtzy    Named after legendary coach Lou Holtz—and just like his namesake, this boy is all about heart, loyalty, and being the ultimate teammate.   Holtzy is a gorgeous orange long-haired male, estimated to be around 2 years old. He was found outside by a kind good Samaritan who reached out to Paws Across Pittsburgh for help, and we’re so glad they did—because this sweet boy is a total all-star.   Despite the reputation orange cats sometimes get for chaos, Holtzy is more like the calm, dependable team captain. He is incredibly sweet, social, and gentle. His favorite play is simple: walk right up to you, lean in for pets, and start that loud, happy purr. Stormie is a gray cat with soft white accents that brighten his coat and highlight his gentle features. His big, lovable eyes give him an expression that is very endearing. Peaches is a gentle giant who found his way to Paws Across Pittsburgh after a feeder reached out in an effort to get him inside before the big storm.  When she went back to trap him, Nacho was with him also looking for a warm safe place to call home.  We believe Peaches is Nacho's dad and the two of them absolutely LOVE each other. Nacho is a beautiful young girl who was found outside with Peaches (we believe he is her Dad).  Although she was spicy at first, she has gotten much more comfortable and is now loving indoor life.  She is a very curious girl who loves to play and purr.  Although she does not like to be picked up, if Peaches is sitting on your lap, she will climb right on too.  She is very fun but never strays too far away from Peaches.  Will you please open your home to these two kitties? ##2652675##

Hello, my name is Hobo! I am under a year old and I’ve had quite the journey to get here! The people who rescued me found in their front yard bush. Boy did I luck out since the people who found me are fosters for Paws. It turns out I had one large wound and a small one on the other side and boy did I get sick and quick. I wasn’t eating and had a high fever. Dr. Jackie examined me and after of getting a peek at the large wound it was determined I needed emergency care. I was rushed to the hospital where I spent the next 5 days receiving care for my wounds. It took about 2 weeks of TLC from my foster family, and other than my fur needing to grow back, I am now fully healed! I never had toys before, but my favorite are my mouse toys that get covered in catnip. I love to use my scratching post and laying in the window to watch outdoors.  Even though I’ve been an outdoor fella I have excellent litter habits. I haven’t been formally introduced to my foster families resident cats, but I’m very curious and chirp and play footsie underneath my own bedroom door. I haven’t not been exposed to dogs, but my foster family believes I will do better with a smaller older dog. Imma sweet boy who would love to find my forever home. Will it be with you?  ##2421143##
