Story
So you need a buddy to go walking with? I'm that boy! I'm a Catahoula Leopard dog mix and I'm about 4 years young. I walk incredibly well on a leash and I'm very sweet! My name is FOREST (61557337) and I'm already well trained because in addition to the walking well on a leash, I also know how to SIT! I really like affection too so there's just no reason to not give me, Forest, a forever home with you!   Check out all the adoptable animals on the shelter's website! https://www.collincountytx.gov/Services/Animal-Services/adoptable-pets All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip and first round of vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit me at Collin County Animal Services - 4750 Community Ave, McKinney TX. Shelter is open Tues-Fri 11-6, Sat-Sun 11-5 August 21, 2026, 3:25 pm

Story
**CONTACT OWNER AT terilminson@gmail.com **COURTESY LISTING** I am currently seeking to rehome my Catahoula dog, Ozzy Pawsbourne. He is an adorable 65 lb pup, approx 2 years old. He is a great dog, very playful and protective. Curious. Sweet demeanor. No problems at all. He is neutered, current on shots, crate trained, house trained and walks well on a leash. He likes to jump up playfully, and has knocked me down a few times. I've had 3 cervical spine surgeries, 2 being last year. I didn't realize his strength when I got him. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep him. My spinal condition will continue to worsen over time. Being knocked down is only going to make the matter worse. I have his crate, bed, toys and an unopened 44lb bag of food to bring with him. He loves riding in car, playing fetch, tug of war and frisbee. Does well with other dogs. Please help me find him a good, safe home.

Story
Backstory: several months ago, her owner passed away very suddenly. Lexi was being boarded at her vet, waiting for a home. We brought her home 3 months ago, hoping she would be a perfect fit. However, Lexi is a very timid dog. When it's just me, or just me and my 3yo,in the house, she is perfect. Just wants to hang by your side and lounge around. However when my husband or teenager or other adults and teens are in the home, she runs and hides in her kennel. She needs a quiet home to really live her best life. Preferably a woman, as she seems more timid around men. She is very mellow, very gentle. She's better with our high-energy toddler than adults. She's shown no aggression, no lunging or snapping. She doesn't destroy her toys. She doesn't even touch the toddlers toys, despite them being all over the floors. She'll carry around her crocodile, and will sometimes play fetch with it. She doesn't dig at the fence or run out the front door. She is house trained. She is the perfect dog.

Story
Lucy has been waiting three years for a home of her own, and she’s still holding out hope that her person is out there. She’s an incredible girl, but can be timid at first and may bark or do a low growl when meeting someone new. Once she feels safe, she forms a deep bond and loves wholeheartedly. She’s very affectionate and is known to give her favorite people big “hugs.” Lucy does well with other dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys getting out for regular walks. No cats for Lucy! She is a 5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/Catahoula Leopard Dog/Lab mix (per Wisdom Panel). She’s potty trained, crate trained, and non-destructive, so she is trusted to free roam in her foster home. Due to her breed mix, an apartment is not a good fit. If you’re interested in giving Lucy the forever home she’s been waiting for, please apply at www.rescuerowinc.org.  *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):      Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee      Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##950302##

Story
Hi, I'm Olive! I'm a 9 month old Catahoula mix looking for my forever family! A Few Things About Me: *9 months old
*Potty trained
 *35 pounds *Crate trained
*Friendly with cats
*Loves other dogs
*Obsessed with toys and playtime
*Extremely cuddly
*Confident and affectionate
*A little shy around some men at first
*I Would love a playful dog sibling Life hasn't always been easy for me. I came to Mazie's Mission with an injured hip and had to have surgery, but don't worry, I'm healing well and ready to find my people. I'll need someone who understands that I may have some limitations at first, but I promise I'm worth it! I'm already potty trained and crate trained, so I'm off to a great start. I love other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful canine sibling to romp around with. Playing with dog friends and collecting toys are two of my favorite hobbies! I'm also cat friendly, so I can fit into lots of different families. When I'm not playing, I'm a professional cuddler. Seriously, if you're looking for a snuggle buddy, I'm your girl. I love being close to my people and soaking up all the love and attention I can get. I'd say I'm a pretty confident pup, but I can be a little nervous around men sometimes. With patience, kindness, and a few treats, I warm up and learn to trust. I haven't spent much time around kids, but everyone thinks I'd likely do just fine. What I'm really dreaming of is a family that will love me for exactly who I am, cheer me on as I continue to heal, and maybe even give me a playful dog friend to call my own. Could that family be yours? I have been spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated! Im ready for my forever people! Let the folks at Mazies Mission Rescue know if you are interested in seeing if we are a match! Www.Maziesmission.Org/adopt
