Rex is the sweetest, happiest boy! He is always happy and ready for all the love and attention. He loves adventures and car rides. He is a big boy who loves everyone and is the perfect host. You have visitors he is there with open arms ready to welcome them to the party! He gets so excited to meet new people, especially anyone giving him attention. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Sofia is a playful puppy but also loves to cuddle. She has no idea what personal space is and just wants to be near a warm body. LOL! She will bark at noises but is not aggressive. She sits on command and is smart. Sofia will destroy anything she can pull into her crate, so for that reason, there is only a mattress inside a huge crate where she sleeps at night, if she is being left alone for short periods, a smaller crate is best. She loves toys and anything that breathes. LOL!
