Meet Freddie! Freddie is a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. He is just over a year old and weighs 45 pounds (the perfect medium size). Freddie is the sweetest boy and loves to cuddle. He'll crawl in your lap and let you hold him like a baby. Freddie is potty trained. Freddie is crate trained and sleeps through the night in his crate. Freddie is dog friendly and loves to play. He'd love a home with a canine sibling. Freddie is kid friendly. Freddie is a pretty quiet dog, but takes the security of his home seriously and may sound the alarm when he sees other dogs out the window. Freddie enjoys a good chew session and having a toy or bone nearby makes him very happy. And Freddie hasn't shown any aggression around food, toys or bones. Freddie is learning how to go on walks! He does pretty well but can get excited when he sees another dog and may whine and pull. But we are working on that with him. Freddie is a quick learner and has learned sit, down and paw. Freddie has had a rough first year of life. He was adopted as a puppy and then returned a year later through no fault of his own. He was adopted a second time but got sick and so was returned again. Now that he has recovered, he is hoping that the third adoption is the charm!

This boy is gorgeous! Such a loving cuddle bug. He has adjusted to home life amazingly. We just love this boy! He was a favorite of the shelter staff; they used him for dog testing because he was such a good boy. And they were sure right. Super friendly, ready to play and find a pal for life! He is good on a leash. Ears that match his personality. Learned sit in record time. He's 2-3 years old, we live in a 1 BR apartment with one dog & they get along great! He's so chill & potty trained. He loves cuddles & to go for walks! Hi there, my name is Ranch, you know, like everyone's favorite condiment! I am a very active, fun loving boy. My unique coat and piercing blue eyes make me hard to resist. I do sometimes jump on you when I'm excited, and I may jump in your face too. I don't mean anything by it, I just need to learn proper manners. Because of this I probably shouldn't be with small children. I have lots of energy and really love to run around and play. I will need to be in a home with a fenced in yard so I can get all my energy out, also because I'm not a huge fan of being kenneled, and I will surely tell you that. I seem to want to play with other dogs but have not been tested off leash at this time. I like to play chase with the tennis balls, but I haven't quite got the concept of bringing them back yet, but with time I will. I enjoy drinking water from the hose, and the volunteers think that I may even enjoy going swimming sometimes, although I haven't tried yet. One other thing that the volunteers learned about me is that I LOVE watermelon. Its so juicy and tasty and keeps me nice and hydrated in the summer, also it gives a perfect cronch factor. My husband and I adopted this sweet boy from a foster agency around 2 months ago. Unfortunately, at the age of 40 my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and is battling for his life. Between being In the hospital, chemo appointments, and my work schedule we don’t have the time to give this boy what he needs. He’s great with all animals! He is shy with strange people (puppy “stranger danger mode) but he absolutely warms up with time and patience. This pup will absolutely need a calm confident human leader. He knows how sit, stay, shake, down, and is crate trained. He is also amazing on the leash (no pulling) and can go for miles! Walking is his happy place. Please help me find this baby a home.. he’s a good boy and deserves a great life.

Sofia is a playful puppy but also loves to cuddle. She has no idea what personal space is and just wants to be near a warm body. LOL! She will bark at noises but is not aggressive. She sits on command and is smart. Sofia will destroy anything she can pull into her crate, so for that reason, there is only a mattress inside a huge crate where she sleeps at night, if she is being left alone for short periods, a smaller crate is best. She loves toys and anything that breathes. LOL!
