Story

I got Misha at Aggieland Humane Society in 2014 as a young pup and she has been faithfully by my side for the last 12 years. She is a faithful loving dog who in her old years loves to lay around and get pets, she loves to use her snout to ask for pets and gets along incredibly well with my 3 children. She is wary of other people but sweet as pie when you get to know her. She is kind and loving to those she trusts.

Story

Meet Navi, a stunning 1½-year-old spayed female Catahoula/Retriever mix with beautiful blue merle coloring and mesmerizing icy blue eyes. She’s just as sweet as she is gorgeous, with a loyal, loving personality that makes her a wonderful companion.Navi loves being close to her people and fully believes she’s a lap dog! Whether she’s soaking up cuddles or napping beside you on the couch, this affectionate girl is happiest sharing time with you.She also has a playful side! Navi loves going for walks, playing, and catching tennis balls. She already knows how to sit, walks comfortably on a leash, and is very food motivated, making continued training fun and rewarding.Navi does well with other dogs, and a meet and greet with any resident dogs is required to make sure everyone is a good match. She also does fine with respectful children who give her gentle attention. With her lovely balance of playfulness and couch cuddles, Navi could do well in an apartment or a house with regular exercise, enrichment, and plenty of family time.If you’re looking for a loyal best friend to join you for walks, catch a few tennis balls, and then curl up beside you for a nap, Navi may be your perfect match!

Lexi

Catahoula Leopard Dog Mutt

Female, Adult

Plano, TX

Size

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Details

Good with kids, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,

Story

Backstory: several months ago, her owner passed away very suddenly. Lexi was being boarded at her vet, waiting for a home. We brought her home 3 months ago, hoping she would be a perfect fit. However, Lexi is a very timid dog. When it's just me, or just me and my 3yo,in the house, she is perfect. Just wants to hang by your side and lounge around. However when my husband or teenager or other adults and teens are in the home, she runs and hides in her kennel. She needs a quiet home to really live her best life. Preferably a woman, as she seems more timid around men. She is very mellow, very gentle. She's better with our high-energy toddler than adults. She's shown no aggression, no lunging or snapping. She doesn't destroy her toys. She doesn't even touch the toddlers toys, despite them being all over the floors. She'll carry around her crocodile, and will sometimes play fetch with it. She doesn't dig at the fence or run out the front door. She is house trained. She is the perfect dog.

Story

Hi, I’m Bobbie! I’m a 4-month-old Catahoula mix with a playful, affectionate personality and a serious love for belly rubs. I’m a happy girl who gets along great with dogs, cats, and kids, so I’d love a family with plenty of friends to play with. I’m still just a puppy with lots of growing and learning ahead of me, and I’m ready to find a family to grow up with. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving girl to add to your family, I’d love to meet you!

Story

Sofia is a playful puppy but also loves to cuddle. She has no idea what personal space is and just wants to be near a warm body. LOL! She will bark at noises but is not aggressive. She sits on command and is smart. Sofia will destroy anything she can pull into her crate, so for that reason, there is only a mattress inside a huge crate where she sleeps at night, if she is being left alone for short periods, a smaller crate is best. She loves toys and anything that breathes. LOL!
