Cece is an older female. I believe she’s 12 or 13. She’s very good with most people. I got her at the pound over 6 years ago. She’s currently in great health. I’m needing to rehome her because I have an elderly aunt in need of full time care and she has cats. I’m sad to see her go. She does well with children but would definitely supervise until she’s fully comfortable. She’s a lap dog, loves belly scratches, playful and sweet.

Ralph is an 8-year-old long-haired Chihuahua with a big personality! Nothing makes Ralph happier than to cuddle up with his human on the couch. When he isn't napping, he will follow you around the house like a little puppy. To Ralph, being with his person 24/7 is what life’s all about. Ralph previously lived with other dogs his size and he currently lives with a very sweet Shih Tzu and cat. Although Ralph can be a bit jealous and may not like every dog or cat he meets, it is possible that he can happily co-habitate with other pets. He will have to meet all pets living in the household to make sure everyone gets along. Ralph has had a complete senior medical workup and had dental work which removed the last of his 3 remaining teeth. He eats wet food but can eat a little dry kibble. His foster mom reports that he is a very messy eater and will pull his food out of his dish. What Ralph lacks in table manners he more than makes up for in charm. And did we mention that Ralph is a heartworm survivor? He successfully completed heartworm treatment and tested negative for heartworms in January, 2024. We do recommend that his adopter keep up with heartworm preventatives and do annual heartworm testing to keep him healthy. With all our rescues, Ralph has been fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He has gone through our Senior Animal Wellness Program which provides a more thorough exam due to his senior status. He has additionally been tested for tick fever, had a urinalysis and x-rays. Medical records will be provided upon adoption.

Possibly the most adorable bonded pair to ever exist, Olive & Opie were found wandering the streets and have been in foster care. it is unsure if they are mom/son or siblings. Olive is 12.5 lbs and around 3, while Opie is 14 lbs and around 2. No owners were able to be located and they were not microchipped. They display a lot of puppy-like energy and enjoy chasing grasshoppers and birds outside. They are shy around new people and Olive seems to be protective of Opie. The foster believes they would do best in a home without other pets, as she has 2 older Chi's and Olive doesn't like them getting too close. Once they have warmed up, they adore kisses and belly rubs. Olive & Opie do seem to have some separation anxiety. They do seem to be potty trained, and are quite gentle taking treats from your hand. While they are learning commands like sit and crate training, they will need more training. The new owners must microchip them, be responsible pet owners, have a secure yard, and keep them as indoor pets. Foster may request home visit and small rehoming fee. Jayde became a mama very young and is now wanting to have some fun with a loving family. She is a chihuahua mix, approx 1.5 years old and weighs only 10 lbs. Boy can she jump! She loves to jump right into your lap for cuddles and will steal your favorite couch spot as soon as you get up. :) She loves to play with her dog friends and show her spunkiness with them.
