Girlfriend is a small dog and scared. She’ll need a family that will take the time to show her she’s safe and loved. I recommend she goes to a home that doesn’t have younger children or other dogs.. she’ll need lots of reassurance that she’s safe and loved. ##2595296##

Story
I am Brownie and who doesn’t love brownies. I am an outgoing jump first and figure it out later kind of guy.  I am pretty sure my first baby bark was actually a “Rawr”.  I will initiate playing with any and every dog or person I meet.  I have a bunch of energy and love to run wild and wrestle.  I love toys!  If it crinkles or squeaks, I absolutely must have it.  If you need to take a toy away from me, I don’t get mean.  I will just search for another toy.  I can sometimes get a little rough with other doggos, but I do take correction well when somebody sets a boundary with me.  I listen well to older dogs both large and small.  I have no fear of bigger dogs.  Introductions to larger dogs should be managed carefully to keep me from getting myself into trouble.  I have not met any human children, but as long as they understand to be gentle due to my size, I think I could make a fantastic kid buddy. I am a good eater, and I freely feed from my dish without overeating.  I do very well with food removal.  I haven’t had many food rewards.  Frankly I prefer human attention to treats.  I would rather wrestle or cuddle as a reward.  I can be a little picky when offered a treat and I don’t always take them.  Maybe I just haven’t found that one treat that makes my tummy super excited yet. Because I am so young, I am just starting to work on my potty training.  I do mostly well with potty pads in my kennel area.  I prefer to keep my sleep/eat/play areas clean.  I separate my waste from my other spaces.  I am told this is an excellent first step to being an expert at potty training.  I do still have an occasional piddle accident when I am out running and playing.  I will need reminders to take a potty break while we are working on my potty training and especially my “outside” potty training. If you are looking for a whole bunch of fun in a little guy package, stop by the next RMPR adoption event and ask to meet Brownie.  I will be waiting to see if we can “Rawr” together. Early stages of potty training, will need work. ##2595367##

Story
Boo! Hope I didn’t scare you, but that is my name…Boo.  I am a tiny little girl looking to fit into the big world.  I am a pretty outgoing pupper.  I love to investigate, to check things out and to learn.  I don’t startle or scare easily, and I am always on the go trying to find something new to explore. I love to play and I don’t care who I play with…big dogs or little dogs are fine with me as long as we all play like polite dogs.  I absolutely do not like being somebody’s chew thing, that is what toys are for.  And boy, do I love me some toys.  Crinkle, squeak, chewy I say “yes please” to anything toy.  I can entertain myself for a while with just a toy and my play area.  But I also like to share and am good with toy removal.  I haven’t met any human children yet, but I think that as long as they are kind to me, I would love to play with them too. I am a good eater, and I freely feed from my dish without overeating.  I do well with food and treat removal.  I take my time learning about treats when they are offered.  I will sniff them and maybe even lick them before taking a treat.  Taking food or treats away from me is not a problem.  I will just give you “the look” and wait patiently for you to realize your mistake and return my snack to me. I don’t want to sound cliche, but I am just a baby.  I am just starting to work on my potty training.  I don’t like it when my sleeping, eating and playing areas are dirty, so I keep my potty away from those places.  But, I haven’t had a chance to explore the outside world yet, so I am mostly potty pad trained.  I am told my eagerness to learn is going to make me pick stuff like potty training and other skills up fast once I get started with training. I can’t wait to meet new friends and find my furever family.  Let’s meet at the next RMPR adoption event to see if we are a good fit to be BFFs.  Just starting to work on potty training, will need additional work. ##2595365##

Story
I am just as cute as a button.  Which is funny, because my name IS Button. I am a tiny little guy looking for a BFF to help me navigate the big wide world.  I love to cuddle and I love to play.  I love to eat and sleep.  Everything else will be new and different for me.  I am a curious puppy but can be a little nervous when overwhelmed.  I have met both big and little dogs and if we can take things slow and respectful I am a happy guy.  I would do well moving into a home with other dog roommates as long as we use slow introduction methods until everybody has their boundaries identified.  I would also do well moving into a home with children as long as we have adult supervision to make sure they respect my small size. I am a good eater, and I freely feed from my dish without overeating.  I do well with food and treat removal.  Although I am still so young that I have not had many treats so far.  Getting my tummy established with good food has taken priority.  For this reason, most of my rewards so far have come in the form of snuggles.  And boy do I love being a good boy and getting all the snuggles. Also, because I am so young and was born in rescue, I am just starting to work on my potty-training skills.  I am doing very well keeping my potty on the potty pad and away from my sleeping, eating, drinking, and playing areas.  I already understand how to be a clean puppy.  I do well with potty pads and it should be a breeze for me to learn the transition from that to potting outside. I am told I am a perfect, well rounded little boy, that I have equal measure of outgoing/fun personality and healthy respect for boundaries.  And that means I can make some person or family a fantastic furever friend.  Come visit me at the next RMPR adoption event and see if we are a good match. In the early stages of potty training.  Doing well so far but will need more work. ##2595366##

Story
Hi, I am Berry! I am a bit of a shy little girl looking for a calm home with calm people and calm activity level.  In case you couldn’t tell, I like it calm. That is not to say I don’t love a good wrestle session every now and then.  But I can startle easily and prefer cuddle time over play time. In fact, I would love to be what they call a Velcro dog, a dog that spends most of my time snuggling with my favorite human.  For those worried about me being startled, I do not snap or bite when startled.  I try to make myself small and hide when I get nervous about something.  I would do well in a home with an older, calm small dog to help me be more comfortable.  I am less likely to be happy in a home with small children who can be fast and loud. I am a good eater, and I freely feed from my dish without overeating.  I do well with food and treat removal.  In fact, I am not super treat motivated.  If offered a treat I will sniff, maybe give it a lick, and eat it if it tastes good.  If it doesn’t taste good, I will walk away.  When I need to be motivated, I absolutely prefer affection to treats. Because I am so young, I am just starting to work on my potty training.  I do mostly well with potty pads in my kennel area.  I miss the edge of the pad every once in a while, but do prefer to keep my sleep/eat/play areas clean.  I separate my waste from my other spaces.  I am told this is an excellent first step to being an expert at potty training. I am just starting out in life and am looking for a calm person to be my best friend and to teach me all the ways that life can be exciting without being scary.   Just starting to work on potty training, will need work in this area.  Not good with rapid movement and loud noises. ##2595361##

Story
Hello. So my daughter bought Beaux in February of 2025 as a puppy. She was working from home at that time, lived on her own and wanted a companion. That all changed in August of 2025 when she changed her job and needed to be in the office full-time. She brought Beaux to me in CO and I've been taking care of him for the past few months. He's really a sweet dog, crate trained and potty trained but I'm not able to leave him at home everyday while I go to work so he spends most days in doggy day care. I would prefer to see him in a loving home where he gets proper exercise and lots of attention.
