Story
Wren is a 1-year-old female Chihuahua/Puggle mix weighing 26 pounds. This adorable girl is full of energy. She loves to play fetch and will also return it to you to throw again. She has been known to “steal” another dog's toy, but then she will return it when she is done playing with it! She appears to be house-trained, but we never guarantee that. She gets along with the other dogs, cats and kids. She enjoys playing in the yard but also walks well on a leash. Her adoption donation is $300, which includes her spay, vaccinations, and microchip. She is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Please come to watch her play fetch! https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p95/Wren.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. Story
Rocko is a 3-year-old Chihuahua weighing approximately 10 pounds. His owner was moving and unable to bring him. She said he was fearful and unsocialized. He would frequently hide from them. He has improved greatly with us, but he still is not totally trusting. He will need someone who will take it slow with him and be patient. He may snap and try to nip until he gets to know you and trust you. We think he will be best for someone with a fenced yard. He likes to walk on a leash but it's best to get to know him in a fenced yard then leashing him will be more comfortable for everyone. He has bonded with our rescue manager. It just takes him a little time. If you are tender-hearted and can go slow, please come meet this boy a few times. He will be worth the wait. He tends to attach to one person and they can do no wrong in his eyes. He is affectionate but when he has enough, he will let you know. He has to be the only pet. His adoption donation is $150 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip. He is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. He will blossom into a lovable, friendly boy so please give him a chance We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. Story
Shurri and Alayah are 2-year-old bonded female siblings. Shurri is a chihuahua mix weighing 13 pounds, and Alayah is a Shih Tzu Chihuahua mix weighing 13 pounds also. They are very timid until they are comfortable with you, but they are presently in a foster home and doing very well. They enjoy playing in the yard and chasing lizards. They are still learning to walk on a leash, so they do require a fenced-in yard. They would be best with someone who is home most of the time. The adoption donation for the pair is $200, which includes their spay, vaccinations, and microchip. They are heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. They have the potential to blossom into loving, happy girls if someone will just give them the time to learn to trust. They are in a foster home, so we are requesting an approved application prior to a meet and greet. https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p79/Shurri_%26_Alaya.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida.
