Tuesday loves playing fetch, chewing on bones—even ones bigger than she is—and, most of all, being around her people. She enjoys toys, long walks, afternoon naps, and curling up in bed with you. She also loves kids! Tuesday can be a little skittish when meeting new people, but once she gets comfortable, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through. Because she was previously left in a crate for long periods, she is not a fan of being crated. If she needs to be crated when home alone, she will require a strong, secure crate. Ideally, Tuesday would love a home where someone is around most of the time, as she does not enjoy being left alone for long periods. Tuesday is very food-motivated, which makes training a lot of fun—but she is also determined when it comes to finding any food that has been left within reach! Hi everyone! My name is Peanut, and my vet thinks I’m around 3 years old. My story started when I was found wandering in a very rural neighborhood. Thankfully, a kind lady took me in and cared for me until the rescue could take over. Everyone was sure that someone must be looking for me, but after three weeks, no one came forward. So now I’m hoping to find the forever family I deserve. ❤️ It took me about a week to feel safe, but once I did, my true personality came shining through! I LOVE attention and would be perfectly happy being your one and only dog. The more people who pet me, cuddle me, and let me sit in their lap, the happier I am! 🥰 I don’t really play or interact with other dogs.
