Story
Make sure to let us know you saw Frazier on Adopt-a-pet. Frazier is quite the gentlemen at only 3 years old- he has a taste for the finer things in life. Be it the ladies or kiddos over 5, he knows what he wants! Who wouldn't when you are as well traveled as him? Speaking of, at first, Fraizer can be a bit of a door darter, however once he becomes comfortable within a space, this tendency seems to subside. As with most little dogs he tends to like his territory (and will mark it as such. With proper training, he can learn not to!). A good Kong treat to work on and a plate full of pate are all this small boy needs to be content. Cat behavior unknown and he can be picky about who he calls a friend dog-wise. Stop on in and meet with our smallest fine sir! **Fenced yard required**

Story
Good With Kids: No young kids Good With Other Dogs: Yes Good With Cats: Unknown Housetrained: Workin’ on it Crate Trained: Yes Walks Nicely On A Leash: Yes Knows Basic Commands: Workin’ on it Energy Level (Couch Potato, Moderate or High): Moderate Special Needs: Physical Fence: Preferred Favorite Toy / Activity: Playing outdoors with dog pals. ARRIVAL STORY: Was relinquished by owner due to too many dogs in home. AGE / WEIGHT: 1.5 Yrs Old and 9lbs. PERSONALITY: Jake may be just 9 pounds, but inside that tiny frame is a heart waiting to blossom in the right hands. At about 1.5 years old, this sweet, soulful boy has already been through more than most pups ever should. Jake spent his early life in a home with too many dogs and not enough human love to go around. Despite that rough start, he’s learning every day what it feels like to be cherished — and he's ready to keep learning with you. In foster care, Jake has discovered the pure joy of playing tug with his dog pal Remi and the hilarious thrill of burying his favorite treasures in the yard. While he’s still working on a few basics like housetraining and commands, he’s already showing us his gentle, quiet spirit. You may never hear his unusual bark, but you’ll see his personality shine in the small moments: a tail wag in the yard, a happy trot beside his dog buddy, or a shy glance that slowly turns into trust. He’s a handsome mix of Chihuahua, Yorkie, Mini Schnauzer, Pomeranian, Toy Poodle, and a sprinkle of a few other breeds — a true one-of-a-kind companion! New Home: Jake is looking for a calm, patient home — ideally with a woman and another confident dog who can show him the ropes. He can be a little fearful, especially around men (he never really got to know them before), but he’s never shown any aggression. With time, understanding, and lots of love, Jake will reward you in ways only a dog who has truly learned to trust can. If you have experience with shy or unsocialized dogs, and your heart is open to watching a once-nervous little boy learn to feel safe, Jake will be your greatest joy. CONTACT: Please contact wtdr@waggintailsdogrescue.org with any questions or submit adoption application via our website www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoption-application. ADOPTION INFO: We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. BONDED SENIOR Chihuahuas A wonderful woman unexpectedly passed away, leaving behind her bonded boys, Scrappy (13) and MJ (10). These boys were deeply loved and never imagined a life without her. Right now, they are grieving, confused, and trying to understand a world that suddenly feels very different. After we were contacted to help, we  took Scrappy and MJ to Orion Oaks Animal Hospital to address some medical needs and to schedule much needed dentals so they can feel their best as they move forward. Now comes the hardest part. These seniors need a special home. A quiet, loving place where they can grieve, decompress, and feel safe again. A home willing to open their hearts to two souls who have lost everything familiar, and give them the comfort and stability they deserve in their golden years. We are asking for everyone’s help by sharing and spreading the word. They need a place to land as soon as possible, so they can begin healing. If you or someone you know has room in their heart and home for these two precious boys, please reach out. www.ccrcdogs.comWe do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support. February 5, 2026, 10:05 am

Story
These girls are sister, they are 7yrs old. They have been together all their lives. Maggie is the biggest and the snuggle bug. She loves all the attention you will give her and still want more. She thinks she is the queen and will push her way in to get the attention she wants. Maddie is on the smaller size and is very finicky. She also loves attention but will not let you pick her up, she will back away. She will however jump on your lap to get your snuggles. They both love sleeping on my lap or next to me. They like car rides and spa days to get the shamoo, cut, and nails done. They are very nervous around loud noises (4th of July, motorcycle, guns, etc). They eat lil Caesars soft food in the AM. and I have dry food in their dish during the day to munch if the get hungry. They love the snacks they get after going outside and when I would return home from work. With my health it is hard for me to pick up their food and water dish to clean and refill, also to get to the groomers.
