Tuesday loves playing fetch, chewing on bones—even ones bigger than she is—and, most of all, being around her people. She enjoys toys, long walks, afternoon naps, and curling up in bed with you. She also loves kids! Tuesday can be a little skittish when meeting new people, but once she gets comfortable, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through. Because she was previously left in a crate for long periods, she is not a fan of being crated. If she needs to be crated when home alone, she will require a strong, secure crate. Ideally, Tuesday would love a home where someone is around most of the time, as she does not enjoy being left alone for long periods. Tuesday is very food-motivated, which makes training a lot of fun—but she is also determined when it comes to finding any food that has been left within reach! So, her new family will need to be mindful about keeping food safely out of sight. Tuesday does well with other dogs when given a proper, slow introduction. She is currently enjoying life in a foster home with other dogs. She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and already spayed, so she is ready to find her forever family! Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee. Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Hi everyone! My name is Peanut, and my vet thinks I’m around 3 years old. My story started when I was found wandering in a very rural neighborhood. Thankfully, a kind lady took me in and cared for me until the rescue could take over. Everyone was sure that someone must be looking for me, but after three weeks, no one came forward. So now I’m hoping to find the forever family I deserve. ❤️ It took me about a week to feel safe, but once I did, my true personality came shining through! I LOVE attention and would be perfectly happy being your one and only dog. The more people who pet me, cuddle me, and let me sit in their lap, the happier I am! 🥰 I don’t really play or interact with other dogs. Milo was adopted from Friends for Animals in 2013. Since we’ve adopted him, he’s been full of energy and always willing to play. When we adopted him, we noticed he wasn’t too happy with other animals, and would stay away from them. This quickly turned into aggression towards dogs that are bigger than him in size. However dogs that are the same size as him, or smaller, he would ignore or walk away. He loves to play with cats who are not scared to be around him, or approach him. But if they are scared of him, he will be scared of them. Milo loves to cuddle and absolutely adores car rides and walks. He listens best when there are treats involved. He’s funny, sweet,energetic and smart. He’s very quick to learn new commands especially when you have his favorite food in hand, hot dogs! The most suitable home for Milo is one where there aren’t many young kids (between 1-6). New owners must be experienced with dogs and willing to learn Milo’s triggers to some standard things (ie. vacuum, etc)
