Meet the bonded duo, Pinky + The Brain!
Quick Facts:
Breed: Chihuahua, attitude and all.
Age: Pinky - 3, Brain - 8
Size: Pinky - 7#, Brain - 8#
Pinky and the Brain were surrendered to the shelter, where they sat terrified of what their future held. Luckily, we have a foster mom who enjoys the company of small gremlins who scooped them up without hesitation. They are a bonded pair, and will be adopted out together into the same household.
Outside of plotting the complete takeover the of the world, both Pinky + The Brain are 100% couch potatoes. They both walk well on a leash, and due to their complete dislike of everything presented in the outside world, they will need strict supervision when outdoors and regular perimeter checks for escape routes custom made for itty-bitties.
Brain - the methodical, highly-intelligent, self-centered Chihuahua - wants nothing more than to complete his plan of complete world domination, and his good-natured, but feeble-minded sidekick - Pinky - is along for the ride, literally. They LOVE looking out the car window.
Brain actively plots the death of anyone who dares to step near his owner while he's present, and the destruction of small children. He has a stuffed animal girlfriend he loves dearly, and will parade his insecurity around in the form of hatred of human-kind if you so much as look at her. If it's any consolation, he has very few teeth left so his threats are mostly dead at inception, and does prefer soft foot because of this. He loves snacks, cuddling on his own terms, Pinky, his "person", and his stuffed animal girlfriend. He hates literally everything else, buuuuut is actively working on not working his flawed schemes on the other members of the household.
Pinky loves toys. She loves toys so much that she will not tolerate any disrespect coming from any human or furry-critter who tries to take them from her and will form a small mafia to make sure they're her last problem. She mostly just wants to snuggle with her human, and is unwilling to share any human attention with anyone other than her brother. She thrives off of treats and will utilize her crate as a forcefield from the world. Pinky takes some time to warm up, but is friendly overall. She truly believes she's the world's best guard dog, warning you of any impending threats from that delivery driver, and any additional threats from any inanimate objects in a 2 mile radius. She gladly clocks out for snuggles at bedtime, though, and prefers a blanket to curl up in.
They will likely get kicked out of any dog parks, banned from play dates with your friend's dogs, and un-invited on any neighborhood strolls you may have already scheduled with a friend. Occasionally they will both tolerate another small, calm dog as long as they bear no interest in toys, but Brain has been known to show interest in other (larger) dogs, convincing you to let your guard down JUST enough for him to chomp at their face. They have never met a cat, but Brain's overconfidence may cause him to completely implode if challenged by a real-life feline queen... proceed with caution. Pinky doesn't mind the pets that come from the 8 year old human in her foster home, but with her brother impatiently waiting for the day children go extinct, they will need a no-kid home.
They are both house-trained, but Pinky lives by "when you gotta go, you gotta go", and won't hesitate to leave you tiny presents around the house if you don't heed immediately to her request for a potty break. Both are crate trained and kennel on command.
