Story
Between July 8th and 31st, my adoption fee is sponsored! Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me and my sister home for only $100 ($50 each)! Please apply online to start the adoption process-- I can't wait to meet you! Meet Tilly and Tori! They are a bonded pair that needs to be adopted together! Tilly is 6 years old and about 15 pounds. Tori is 5 years old and about 20 pounds. Both are Chihuahuas. Tilly can be a bit reserved at first, but when she comes around, she will be your BFF for life! She loves to cuddle in laps and be talked to. She will greet you with happy little hops. Her favorite spot is on the back of the couch looking out the window. She also LOVES to be outside and will sit on the deck or explore the yard all day. A yard with a fence would be her dream! Tori is a spunky little gal. She is living with several little dogs in her foster home and she loves to play with them. She also really likes to have a chew toy and will spend time in her crate happily chewing away. She loves to lay in laps or on the couch next to her person. Tilly and Tori are both crate trained and will usually go in the crate with a treat. They can sometimes be found just laying in their crate. They get along well with other dogs and are completely house trained. Both girls came into rescue overweight. Their foster mom calls them her stuffed sausages! With a good diet and walks/playtime, they have been losing weight. They're ready for a happy and healthy life with you! Tilly and Tori are being fostered in the Cincinnati area. The adoption fee for this bonded pair is $500.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
