Turns out, they weren't as welcoming as I'd hoped. So, here I am, ready for new adventures with you. I'm a great listener, a superb comedian, and I promise to be the most loyal friend you'll ever have. Adopt me and let's make our own fun stories together! I'm a very outgoing boy and love playing with my kennel mates and friends. I am a little hesitant when I first meet people because I'm not sure if I can trust them. She was being fostered by a good Samaritan who tried to socialize her, but had trouble getting her out of the closet. She has acclimated really well to our program, loves being outside during the day with the other dogs. Comes in at night and goes to her kennel to sleep. She appears to be housebroken. She wants to be people friendly, but she had to warm up to you first. I suspect she has been traumatized while she was on the streets. The good sam said the neighbors were chasing her away and throwing rocks at her. She is starting to realize not all humans are mean. This is Buddy, and he can't wait to be yours! Buddy is a sweet young Chihuahua mix that started life off as a feral, until he was caught by a sweet and loving foster. Buddy got the good life after that! Spoiled with treats and given so much love he's developed into a great dog. He's a very friendly boy and does great with pretty much everyone. He would do best in a household with an active family. Buddy does tend to bark at smaller animals so he would do best in a household that doesn't have farm animals or other small pets. Dogs and cats he is fine with, though he has not had much experience with cats. Buddy would do well paired with another calm and confident dog. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
