Story
Meet Minty: Your Future Best Friend! About Minty: Minty is a sweet and gentle 2-year-old Chihuahua mix who has come a long way from her days in a municipal shelter. We don’t know much about her past, but her initial fear and distrust indicate she might have had a tough start in life. When she was first rescued, she was shaking and scared, unsure of the world around her. Personality: Minty is a loving and loyal companion once she gets to know you. Although she was initially wary of both men and women, with time and patience, she has learned to trust and even show affection to her caretakers. She is a bit of a shy girl, especially around men, and may take a while to warm up to new people. However, with gentle and understanding handling, she blossoms into a loving and loyal friend. Living Situation: Minty currently lives in a kennel in Turkey, but she’s ready to find her forever home. She can coexist with cats, though she’s a bit timid around them. She would do best with a submissive and calm dog companion if there’s another dog in the home. Favorite Things: Minty absolutely loves her treats! They are the key to her heart and can help in building trust and bonding with her. Ideal Home: Minty needs a patient and understanding family who can give her the time she needs to adjust and feel safe. Because of her fear of men, she might do better in a household with women or with very gentle and patient men. A calm and peaceful environment would be perfect for her, where she can feel secure and loved. Adoption Requirements: A patient and understanding adopter A calm household Gentle handling and care Preferably a female adopter or very patient males Submissive and calm dog companions (if any) Willingness to give Minty the time she needs to trust and settle Minty can fly to Toronto or Vancouver when she finds her forever home! If you think you can offer Minty the loving and secure home she deserves, please apply; https://www.cheers2paws.org/dog-adoption-form

Story
Introducing the darling Jennifer, a petite 2-year-old Chihuahua-Jindo mix weighing in at a delightful 10 kilograms. This precious pup has quite the story to tell, having been rescued from a kill shelter alongside her precious puppies. Jennifer is what you might call a "people person" in the canine world. She adores meeting new friends and welcomes them with open paws, allowing even strangers to lavish her with pets and cuddles. In fact, she's quite the social butterfly and doesn't mind being carried around like the little queen she is. And oh, don't even get her started on belly rubs – she's practically an expert at melting hearts with her irresistible display of a soft, fluffy belly begging for attention. Having been a devoted mom to her puppies, Jennifer has learned the art of sharing and getting along swimmingly with dogs of all shapes and sizes. She's a true peacemaker, always opting for a calm and collected approach when there's a sniff of conflict in the air. Whether it's a boisterous playmate or a gentle giant, Jennifer is all about spreading harmony and love in the doggy world. When it comes to cats, Jennifer's curiosity might pique when she spots a stray feline on her walks. But fear not – her focus remains firmly on her trusted handler, ensuring that she stays on track and doesn't get too distracted by those mysterious creatures with whiskers. Now, Jennifer may tend to pull a bit on the leash when she's overcome with excitement on her adventures. But fear not, for she quickly settles down once she's had a chance to take in the sights and sounds of her surroundings. And as for those tear stains? Well, it seems that chicken might be the culprit, but a little TLC and a carefully tailored diet will have her sparkling like the gem she truly is. This charming canine companion is seeking a forever family who can shower her with plenty of love and affection, along with a dose of tranquillity to match her serene disposition. If you believe Jennifer is "the one" for you, please don't hesitate to reach out to her devoted team. She's ready to sprinkle your life with endless joy and puppy kisses! 🐾 To see more videos:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhJGCgsllwY&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JxsglforEc1FTB9vABc7T-8

Story
Hi there! I’m Yoo Hoo, a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix with a tricolor coat of brown, black, and white. I’m a dainty little lady, tipping the scales at just 5.4 kg. My life story is quite the tale – I found my way to my rescuer’s doorstep while expecting my four adorable puppies. We’ve been through a lot, including being saved from a flood, but now we’re safe and sound in a shelter, waiting for a forever home. I’m a bit on the shy side, especially around new people, but give me a snack and some time, and I’ll warm right up, showing you my belly for some gentle pets. I have a soft spot for women and might take a little while to trust men, but I’m learning – I even hug my current foster dad! Kids’ sudden moves and loud noises startle me, but I’m friendly with other dogs, both big and small, and I’ve even shared a home with a cat for a month. I love being part of the pack and feel more secure with my canine friends around. I’m an expert at walks, strolling along without pulling on the leash. I’ve had to learn to enjoy dog food instead of just meat, and now I’m quite the foodie, willing to try different things. I’m well-behaved in public places like cafés and restaurants, and I always prefer to do my business outside. I’m smart and have a great memory for people. When I’m happy, you might see me twitch my lips – it’s a cute quirk I share with my daughter. I’m getting used to being around men and kids in my foster home, and I’m sure I’ll fit right into your family too. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart companion who’s had her share of adventures, I’m the girl for you. Let’s make some memories together! Tail wags and gentle licks, Yoo Hoo 🐾

🐾 Hi there! I’m Lumi! 🐾 🌟 Age: 3 years 🌟 Sex: Male 🌟 Breed: Chihuahua mix 🌟 Color: Black 🌟 Weight: 6 kg Rescue Story: I was rescued from a mountain that was on fire, and now I’m looking for a loving home! 🏡 A little about me: • I’m a bit shy at first, but if you give me a snack, I’ll quickly become your friend and let you pet me! 🍪 • I haven’t met any children under 13 years old yet. 👶 • I can be lifted gently by putting your arm under my belly. 🐶 • I’m friendly and love to greet and play with both familiar and new dogs. 🐕 • I get along well with dogs of all sizes – bigger, similar, and smaller than me! 🐾 • I avoid confrontation even if other dogs try to provoke me. 🐾 • I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react to them. 🐱 • I enjoy outdoor activities and have a normal energy level, but after playing outside, I like to rest quietly. 🌳 • Due to my lack of walking experience, I might lie flat when I’m scared. 😟 • I walk well in quiet areas but get scared near busy roads with lots of cars. 🚗 • I don’t guard my food against people, but I might growl if another dog comes too close while I’m eating. 🍽️ • I bark demandingly when I want something. 🐾 • I fear getting in the car and need to be lifted in. 🚗 Fun facts about me: • I’m shy at first towards strangers but follow well once I become comfortable. 🐾 • I generally get along well with other dogs and would love to have some furry friends in my new home! 🏠 If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loving companion, I’m your guy! Let’s make some wonderful memories together! 💖 Love, Lumi 🐾
