💛💛 Please meet Pablo! 💛💛 Our outgoing and very affectionate Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua / Dachsund). He's a 4-year old, neutered male that weighs about 13 lbs and is up-to-date on his shots. We brought Pablo home during the pandemic from an org that had rescued his mom from the streets while pregnant with a liter of 5 pups. He is overall obedient with commands but it's been an ongoing process to work on managing his anxiety when new guests come into our home. We are expecting a new baby in May and are prioritizing a baby-friendly environment. I am extremely hopeful that we can find a good family to adopt Pablo as surrendering him to a shelter would be too painful of a decision. Pablo is potty trained and walks well off leash. He's GREAT on hikes and has a lot of energy and playing fetch at the beach or a park is one of his favorite things to do. He loves attention from humans but can be nervous so he is responds best to calm, confident energy and prefers women.

Meet Pops, a sweet senior chihuahua boy! Pops is approximately 12-14 years old and 8 lbs. He is house broken but could use a bathroom break every few hours. Pops (aka Poppies and Popperonies) loves walking through the neighborhood, cuddling on the couch and in his crate, and eating (he would weigh more than 8 lbs if he had it his way). He gets along very well with other dogs and is learning what it means to share space with a cat. Even though Pops is a senior, he is quite spry. He has decided that all cat toys are the perfect size for him to play with and is enthusiastic about getting on short pack walks. Pops would love to find his forever home in the new year!

Meet Valerie! Referred to as Cher by her foster mom, she is an adorable tiny 8-9 pound chihuahua mix. This sweet and loving girl was aged as 6-7 by the shelter, but we think she's closer to 4 years old. Valerie was abandoned and rescued on the day she was going to be put down. The shelter said she was snappy. Poor Valerie was just terrified at the scary shelter. Naturally shy, little Valerie will need time to decompress with her new family and will let people pet her after about three or four days. Valerie should be in an adult only house since she is very timid and fearful. Once she feels trust, she will be on your lap constantly. She loves to play with other dogs, is reliably housebroken, and loves going on walks. What's not to love?
