    Meet Shallot! Say hello to this darling 4.3-pound fawn colored Dachshund mix with a big personality packed into a tiny frame. She’s confident and a bit of an alpha, but her sweet, affectionate nature makes her irresistible. Shallot loves being around people, settles down quickly after playtime, and has been wonderfully quiet when tucked in for the night. This little girl also sports a unique feature—her tail ends in the cutest little ball, likely a birth quirk that only adds to her charm. Shallot has bounced back beautifully after an early, mild case of parvo. Thanks to quick treatment and lots of love and great care, she’s now healthy, happy, and full of that signature Dachshund bravery and spirit. The vet doesn’t expect any future problems, though other dogs in her future home should be fully vaccinated. She’s making steady progress with her potty training and is currently used to being in a pen rather than a crate. With her mix of confidence, sweetness, and those soulful Dachshund eyes, Shallot is ready to wiggle her way into her forever family’s heart.     Huggles had a a rough start to life, found in a parking lot, and bottle fed by a good samaritan at just 3 weeks of age. But this did not dampen his spirit one bit! Huggles was fortunate to have landed in a warm and cozy foster home while he is looking for his furever home.    He is a curious and playful puppy that would thrive in just about any environment. He developed a cherry eye, but this can be easily treated and will not affect his growth or health in any way.    Huggles prefers to potty outside (though accidents at his age should still be expected) and sleeps quietly at night. Story
This is one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make, because this dog has been our best friend and loyal companion for the past five years. He is truly a loving, devoted dog who just wants to be close to his people. He absolutely loves cozying up with you at night, following you from room to room, and being by your side whenever he can. Walks are one of his favorite parts of the day, and he lights up when it’s time to play fetch; especially if his beloved ice cream cone toy is involved. He thrives on affection and will happily soak up praise, especially when he’s told he’s the best dog ever (which he absolutely is). We are rehoming him due to challenges adjusting to life with our new baby. This decision comes from a place of love and wanting what’s best for him. He deserves a home where he can feel relaxed, secure, and be someone’s number one companion again. He has so much love to give and will make an incredible best friend to the right person.
