However, as life's plans shifted, Cleo stayed with us a little longer than expected. Now, as a busy mom who travels frequently for work, I've realized that it's become challenging to give Cleo the time and attention she truly deserves. Cleo is a ray of sunshine, always wagging her tail and ready to brighten anyone's day. She's a young and vibrant pup, bursting with love and energy. While it's been wonderful having her with us, I've come to the decision that Cleo deserves a home where she can thrive with a family who has the time and space to cherish her playful spirit.         Skarlet did not have a great start to life. She came to Angels with her son Johnny Papa. They do not need to be adopted together but would not mind it. Skarlet is an 8-10-pound Chihuahua who was not socialized. She is very scared and takes time to warm up to new people, and she prefers women. Once she trusts you, she is very sweet and loves to play and snuggle. Skarlet’s perfect home would be a female home with the experience, time, and patience to help an unsocialized dog.  She will also need an adult household.     Hey there!  My name is Chikis.  I am an 11 year old, 15 pound, senior gentleman looking for a loving new home. I am a dachshund mixed with a grizzly bear, don't ya think?? I would really enjoy a home that has another dog and calm people that will let me settle in. My tail wags nonstop around new and old dogs... they are just the best. I am quiet and easy going, but my foster mom thinks I would be best with no little kids.  I like petting, but too much makes me a little uncomfortable.  Maybe that's because my last family got tired of taking care of me and dumped me at the shelter. Oh well...
