Moonie is a 7 month old pup, she’s super sweet and playful. She’s a biggg cuddler and will want to be by your side 24/7. Im looking for someone who will give her lots of attention and love. I would prefer the adopter to have puppy experience since I am letting go of one of my babies. I’m currently pregnant and figured it would be best to rehome Moonie to a new loving home. Moonie is currently learning to be potty trained, she knows how to use her puppy pads but needs more encouragement for outdoor training. Hoping Moonie will find a new loving family who will love her as much as we do.

Jack is a chiweenie, around 13 years old — I adopted him from a shelter about ten years ago. He came from an abusive first home, so he's a gentle, skittish soul who needs a calm environment and patience to feel safe. He's low-energy, quiet, house-trained, and good with kids, cats, and other dogs.This past year Jack lost most or all of his sight. He gets around his familiar space fine but would do best with someone who has experience with blind or anxious dogs, and a calm, predictable home rather than a chaotic one.I'm having to rehome him due to a new baby and a busy work/school schedule that doesn't leave him the quiet, patient attention he needs and deserves.

Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Apollo showed up on our front doorstep 4 years ago emaciated and wearing a collar. After we had no luck finding the owner, we decided he had captured our hearts, and he's been a part of our family ever since.Unfortunately, we currently have 6 pets living in our apartment and it is unsustainable, so we have made the difficult decision to try to rehome Apollo.Apollo loves people, and gets along great with all of our pets (cats and dogs). He's an incredibly affectionate and cuddly dog. He wants to be inside your skin and will always be at your side if he's able!He has separation anxiety due to us working from home, so he may bark if left home alone. He is house and leash trained. While he prefers to be in bed with you–he is kennel trained as well.Everyone who has met this goofy dog has fallen in love, and we know you will too!
