Story
Suki, a Chiweenie is four years old. We adopted her from Atlanta Humane in early 2023. Suki loves to be rubbed and showered with attention. Fetch is her favorite activity! She knows & understands simple commands (i.e. yes, no, come here, wait, outside & treat- her favorite). She enjoys sunbathing and being outside with the family. She is also crate trained and knows it as her “bed” & is house trained. Like most dogs, Suki has great hearing and barks whenever she hears something or someone she’s unfamiliar with. She definitely lets the house know (by barking) when someone is at the door or comes to visit. She’s not a fan of baths or the vacuum cleaner. Suki was diagnosed with IVDD in late September which caused temporary paralysis. She’s recovered and is back walking. She has a little wobble when running, sometimes causing her to fall down but she’s able to get up immediately. Up-to-date with Rabies vaccine only.

Milo is in need of rehoming due to being able to come with us at our new home. ( Unfortunately our landlord is adamant that we can’t have pets) Milo is an energetic 8 year old that enjoys being around kids and other dogs. He is fully potty trained and crate trained. He is full of personality and loves to cuddle as well!

Our high school senior fell in love with "Sunny" in a store parking lot in January 2025. A kind woman had rescued a litter of 10 husky mix pups. We already had a now 6 year old golden retriever, but had been discussing whether or not it might be nice for our current dog to have a playmate. Well, we said yes to taking Sunny in. She is super smart and was easily house-trained, but VERY much the alpha to our golden. Sometimes they play fight, but sometimes it's real fighting! We were hoping they would eventually learn to co-exist, but it seems Sunny might be a better "only child". Head up, Sunny needs LOTS of exercise. We've been taking Sunny to playtime at our local vet during the work week to make sure she gets adequate exercise. Unfortunately, she has recently been made to play by herself because she was aggressive with some other dogs. She is absolutely loving to humans. She has separation anxiety and, if left alone uncrated, will eat pillows, stuffed animals,

He’s the definition of a lap dog and would happily spend his days being held and doted on. This gentle, low-energy guy is well-mannered and seems to be crate trained, as he keeps his kennel clean. Porter gets along well with other dogs but would really thrive in a calm, quiet home where he can relax and enjoy a peaceful routine. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who just wants to be by your side, Porter is your guy! Porter currently weighs about 5lbs., is approximately 10 years old (est. birth date 11/04/2015), and his adoption fee is $185. Porter has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
