Moonie is a 7 month old pup, she’s super sweet and playful. She’s a biggg cuddler and will want to be by your side 24/7. Im looking for someone who will give her lots of attention and love. I would prefer the adopter to have puppy experience since I am letting go of one of my babies. I’m currently pregnant and figured it would be best to rehome Moonie to a new loving home. Moonie is currently learning to be potty trained, she knows how to use her puppy pads but needs more encouragement for outdoor training. Hoping Moonie will find a new loving family who will love her as much as we do.

Jack is a chiweenie, around 13 years old — I adopted him from a shelter about ten years ago. He came from an abusive first home, so he's a gentle, skittish soul who needs a calm environment and patience to feel safe. He's low-energy, quiet, house-trained, and good with kids, cats, and other dogs.This past year Jack lost most or all of his sight. He gets around his familiar space fine but would do best with someone who has experience with blind or anxious dogs, and a calm, predictable home rather than a chaotic one.I'm having to rehome him due to a new baby and a busy work/school schedule that doesn't leave him the quiet, patient attention he needs and deserves.

This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Uzi is a sweet, funny, people-loving dog looking for the forever home he deserves. He was adopted from Lifeline about 1 yr ago by a friend who could no longer keep him, so he came to live with me. Now I'm looking for a stable, loving home where he can thrive. He's house and crate trained, knows sit, down, shake, and fist bump, loves cuddling on the bed, looking out windows, and being with his people. He's energetic and needs regular exercise. Uzi is very trainable. He stayed with a professional trainer for 10 days and made great progress. He'll benefit from continued work on leash walking and recall, and we can provide the trainer's contact. Uzi loves other dogs and playing with my other sibling's mini Dachshund (pictured together). He's not aggressive but is learning dog social skills and doesn't realize his size or strength. We think he'd do we well with kids, but may accidentally knock over small children. With love and continued training he'd be an awesome life long friend.
