FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Odin! Odin is a 2-year-old, 14 lb Chiweenie who is packed with personality, charm, and goofy little dog energy! This fun-loving guy is outgoing, confident, adventurous, and always ready to be part of the action. Odin loves going on walks, exploring with his people, and joining in on daily adventures. He walks well on leash and would thrive in a home that enjoys an active, social lifestyle. Odin is quirky, silly, and affectionate with his people. Once he bonds with you, he bonds deeply and becomes a loyal little sidekick who always wants to be nearby. He does well with other dogs, though he can sometimes put on a bit of a “tough guy” act toward bigger dogs while on leash. With continued structure, guidance, and positive socialization, he’ll continue building confidence and improving his manners in those situations. Odin is looking for a home that will embrace his spunky personality, keep him active and engaged, and give him lots of love and companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet, entertaining little adventure buddy with a big personality, Odin might just be your perfect match! Oden is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Sweet, silly, SMART and lovable goofball is looking for HER people. Boo wants to be the star of your show! Boo has a heart murmur, but that doesn't stop her from miles long walks or mild hikes, car rides, and endless play with any soft toy that squeaks! Tug is a favorite of hers and the only time she growls, unless you're a stranger. After all of that activity, she loves to curl up next to you and nap. Don't get me wrong, she's also an excellent couch potato, who would love to sleep under the covers at your feet. She does well with cats and dogs, but really wants ALL your attention. If your looking for a sidekick, she's your girl. She wants to be or go wherever you go. If you leave a car door open, you'll find her waiting for you, ready to go! Like a typical Chiweenie, she's territorial in her home and on leash. She will bark at visitors, but doesn't "guard." A home with no young kids would be best. She doesn't do well with yelling or rough housing.

Story
**Charlie and Cody: Bonded Dachshund-Corgi Mix Brothers**   Charlie and Cody are gentle, reserved brothers, approx. 15 months old, both neutered. They were left at the shelter with their three sisters, and after being separated from them, the boys formed a strong bond. Now, they are affectionate and starting to enjoy life in the Pacific Northwest. They are gradually building trust with their foster family and getting used to their new home. Both are safe, well-fed, and comfortable. They are up to date on vaccinations and have no known health issues, so they are ready for adoption. Their foster home does not have a fenced yard, and because Cody and Charlie are still settling in, they have not yet started using harnesses or going for walks on a leash.  We hope the boys can be adopted together into a home with a fenced yard, so they have a safe place for potty breaks and can learn to walk on a harness and leash. Cody and Charlie might be shy at first, but they are curious and want to connect with people. They are motivated by food and will gladly take treats from your hand. They like being spoken to and respond well to a gentle voice. With time, patience, and love, they will become devoted companions. We prefer adopters who have experience with shy or untrained dogs, or who are open to guidance, to help the boys adjust smoothly to their new home. We do not know if they have been around children, so we recommend a home without kids or with children over 12. The Corgi-Dachshund mix, also known as a “Dorgi,” was first bred by Queen Elizabeth of the UK. Because they have a prey drive, they should not live with small animals or cats . **Adopting Cody and  Charlie **  To  adopt Cody and Charlie, please use the link below. One of our volunteers will review your application, follow up with you to ask questions, address any concerns, and see if you are a good match for these pups. If you are a match, the next step will be a meet-and-greet. Please use a computer to fill out the application, as tablets and cell phones may cause issues. The boys now eat a human-grade diet that avoids kibble and focuses on healthy, dog-specific food. We will teach their adopters about proper diet and nutrition. The adoption fee for adopting the boys together is $595 and includes neuter, all vaccines, and a microchip. www.smallpupsrescue.org  June 18, 2026, 6:48 pm

Story
**Libby** Libby is a 15-pound, 3-year-old female Dachshund-Corgi mix. She was found with her daughter and two sons running with stray dogs that had been dumped in Fresno, California.  Libby is a sweet girl who would be perfect for a retired woman. She loves women and is more cautious toward men tho she will gravitate toward dog-friendly men with time and trust.                              Libby's ideal adopter(s) are a woman and someone experienced with abused rescue dogs. Libby is a bit of a couch potato, but with encouragement, she will walk on a harness and lead and explore with you.  Libby LOVES to cuddle with her person. she is extremely affectionate and once bonded, she becomes yours forever!!  She will be fine as an only dog as long as she has her person close by and is not left alone for long periods. She gets along well with other friendly small breed dogs. Story
**Meet Luna the Adorable Dachshund-Terrier**   Luna is a sweet and loving Terrier mix brought to Rompin Paws Rescue with her two sisters. Luna’s on a heartfelt quest to find her forever home. Initially, Luna may be a bit shy when meeting new people. Still, once she feels safe and loved, she blossoms into a delightful cuddle companion, eagerly seeking your affection and a cozy lap to snuggle on.   Luna is 2.5 years old and is gorgeous! What makes Luna truly special is her unique beauty—a shiny, slightly wavy black coat highlighted with silver streaks and a charming white chest. Luna loves to be groomed, held, loved, and play with dog buddies in the yard   Luna thrives in the company of other dogs, so she would be happiest in a home with at least one dog-friendly friend to play with. Imagine the joy of watching her grow and flourish in a loving environment, especially with a mentor dog to guide her. Your commitment to nurturing these relationships will be instrumental in Luna's journey to confidence and happiness. With her active lifestyle, Luna requires a fenced yard to run and play freely. She is an energetic bundle of fun, always ready to romp and frolic with her fellow furry pals in the spacious play yard at the rescue. A true social butterfly, she loves to soak up attention from everyone she meets, and her enthusiasm for running makes her an exceptional walking companion. Luna has the potential to excel in agility training and other fun activities! Bringing Luna into your home means welcoming a vibrant spirit who is playful, sweet, and affectionate. With consistent training, she will likely acquire a range of skills quickly. However, she’s still mastering the harness and lead; her determination to learn mirrors her sisters', making training an exciting adventure. Luna is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to learn from her new adopters.   Are you ready to open your heart and home to Luna? The adoption fee is $395.00, with all funds directly supporting her care and allowing us to rescue even more needy dogs. To begin the adoption process for this incredible pup, please complete our online application using the link below. Your thoughtful and detailed responses will help us understand your lifestyle and create the best match.   www.smallpupsrescue.org June 18, 2026, 6:48 pm
