It is with super heavy hearts that my husband and I are needing to re-home our 3 year old male Chiweenie mix, Ollie. He is neutered and up to date with vaccines and flea prevention. He loves other dogs and kids 3+, but cannot live with cats. We are re-homing him due to his strong prey drive and aggression towards our cats that we haven’t been able to train away and he hasn’t grown out of. He needs a fenced yard or to be in an apartment with no yard, as he will try to escape an unfenced yard. We aren’t seeking any re-homing fee; we just want to find him a loving home, ideally with another dog for him to get his energy out with.

Story
Simba is a great little dog however, he has a temper. He gets into moods where he doesn’t want to be picked up or touched and he tries to bite you. He has moments where he plays as well. He would do well with a single person or a couple with no kids with experience. I wouldn’t say he’s aggressive but he has aggressive moments.

Kovi is a very sweet boy, very loving and it breaks our hearts to have him leave us. My daughter is out of work and an alcoholic, she cannot care for him or his sister Maryposa. We'd like them to go as a pair if at all possible, they've grown up together. Kovi sleeps on laps, is very low key, not "barky" at all.

Cane came from a hoarding situation.  He is cautious of new people and will require lots of patience; however, he has not tried to bite.  Just shuts down and tries to avoid contact.  He's a good old boy looking for a loving home with the patience to help him trust again. Cane is 8 years old, 6 pounds, and is $250 to adopt.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cin cinnati, Lexington KY, or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. He is a little shy but is learning to trust. He was the last one rescued.  He was on his own for over a week before we located him again.  He would love a family or person to go on walks with.
