Meet Doctor Knox! And yes, he is every bit as handsome as his name suggests. This gorgeous blonde Cocker Spaniel has soft, wavy hair, a happy little wiggle, and a personality that lets you know he's arrived. He'll be turning 4 years old in November and weighs a healthy, trim 33 pounds. He's a wonderful age, past the puppy craziness but still young enough to enjoy plenty of playtime, walks, toys, and adventures with his people.Doctor Knox also comes with his own built-in home security system. He likes to announce when someone new comes around, so there's no need to spend money on a monthly alarm subscription. Just keep his food bowl filled, his toy basket stocked, and remind him how handsome he is. He considers those perfectly reasonable household arrangements!Knox loves his toys, especially his chew toys, and enjoys his morning or evening walks. He is happy to entertain himself with a favorite toy and can often be found stretched out on his dog bed, contentedly passing the time. He's currently enjoying life in a foster home with other dogs and plenty of activity. He has opinions about his canine housemates and isn't a boy who takes much sass from anyone, but he's also learned to settle in and enjoy having company around.His story is a little sad. For nearly four years, Knox was the king of his castle and had a home and person of his own. Unfortunately, his owner eventually decided she no longer had the time to spend with him and surrendered him to rescue. It took him a little while to adjust to the change, but he's found his footing again and is showing everyone what a happy, loving boy he really is.What Knox wants most is a person or family who genuinely enjoys having a dog around. He loves his people and would do best with someone who understands the Cocker Spaniel personality: affectionate, clever, sometimes vocal, occasionally opinionated, and always full of character. He needs a kind, confident leader who will give him consistency, attention, and a place where he can feel secure and loved.If you've ever loved a Cocker Spaniel, you probably already know what makes these dogs so special. And if you've never had one, Doctor Knox might just be the fellow who introduces you to the joys of the breed. A Heartbeat at your Feet <3MEET GEORGIA! Little Georgia, as her foster pawrents call her, is just blooming in foster care after being found running in traffic as a stray. Estimated to be about 4 years old and weighing 17 lbs, this little beauty got a bath and a spiffy new hair cut after getting her booster shots earlier so she is a healthy, gorgeous and very happy little girl.  Here’s what her foster mom has to say about her… “This dog is a really, really good girl. She’s a great size. She loves to cuddle. She’s got a lot of spunk. She eats well. She loves treats. She sits, she shakes. She sits in the backseat of the car and doesn’t cry. She sleeps on the floor or in a bed although she would probably be happy if you invited her up, lol. She’s really friendly and gets along with other dogs. She’ll come up to you and rub all over your feet looking for a belly rub. She’s a beautiful brown color and very soft. She has the cutest little eyebrows.” Although Georgia is the happy little pack leader of 3 other adorable dogs in her foster home, she is ready to find her own castle. She is a petite little thing so kids must be over the age of 10 please. Georgia's adoption donation fee is $500, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. Willow is a really good dog!! He is super friendly, cuddly, and loves children. Willow came from another household where he was never outside and so now he has a lot of anxiety on walks and is reactive to other dogs. He does well is quiet outdoor spaces and loves to run around! I am unable to keep Willow because he does not fit with my daily routine and requires a lot of patience on walks.

Meet Lucas a sweet little fellow of about 2 years or less. He sadly did hurt his eye and because he was a show dog, and they had him for all the wrong reasons, they decided they did not want him any longer! (can you believe that?) He is 34 pounds and we do not think he’ll ever get any bigger due to his age. He is fully grown. Anyone would enjoy being around Lucas. However, we’re not sure if he’s good with cats or not. Currently, he does live with three children that are very young. So he is use to children and very good with him as well. His eye does not look bad however you can tell that he’s blind in one eye. I’m sure that it was damaged and the couple who had him only cared about the way he looked, so I don’t think they sought out proper medical care. We have got him neutered, and I’m sure they used him as a breeding dog as well. We are looking for a home that will make him part of the family unit. He’s young and you will have many years with Lucas. But it’s got to be the right home to the right family. If you’re interested in learning more, please do not hesitate to reach out. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 150.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 150.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. She loves being close to her people, happily soaking up cuddles without ever being demanding, and she`s perfectly content lounging on the porch, taking leisurely walks, or enjoying a cozy nap between snack breaks. Chew toys, chicken jerky treats, squeaky toys, and car rides all earn Lou Lou`s enthusiastic approval! Though she has cataracts, she navigates the world remarkably well. Lou Lou co-exists peacefully with other dogs in her foster home, but people are where she finds her joy.
