🐶 Looking for a New Family for Lego 📍 Location: New York Lego was adopted as a young puppy but was sadly surrendered by his owner after three years. He grew up in an unstable environment with frequent travel back and forth to Boston, which made it difficult for him to form a secure attachment with his guardian. Because of this instability, in moments of fear, panic, or overwhelming stress, he has shown a few defensive or warning bites Lego needs a family who can meet him in person, understand his behavior clearly, and provide the consistent, reassuring environment he needs. City life is simply too overwhelming for him. With a quiet environment and a patient, steady guardian, Lego has every chance to continue improving and becoming more stable. The greatest hope is for Lego to find a peaceful home where he can finally rest. 📌 Basic Information Name: Lego Age: 4 years Gender: Male Weight: 25 lbs Breed: Jindo × Cocker Spaniel mix Color: Brown & White 🐾 Personality & Behavior People: Very fearful/reactive toward new people, warms up more easily to shorter women Children: Not recommended Other Dogs: Best as the only dog Shows resource guarding around food; must be fed separately Cats: Unknown Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: No Energy Level: High Touch/Handling: Uncomfortable with physical contact Barking: Quiet when alone; barks at doorbells or hallway noises when someone is home Escape Tendencies: None — manageable with “sit” and “wait” Walking: Martingale collar recommended; pulls with a harness Car Rides: Nervous initially, settles on longer rides Yard: Ideal, but a quiet neighborhood is also fine Living with Other Dogs: Not suitable 🔎 What Lego Needs Lego has fear-based reactivity. His current guardian has invested significant time, training, and management, and he has shown meaningful progress. However, Lego needs: A guardian experienced with reactive or anxious dogs A consistent daily routine A calm environment with low stimulation 🧡 Please Consider Becoming Lego’s Family Once he bonds, Lego is goofy, affectionate, and deeply loyal. He is waiting for a forever family who can provide the quiet suburban environment where he can truly thrive.

To learn more about Buddy, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Buddy will be at one of our adoption events this weekend! Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. Buddy is a cheerful Cocker Spaniel mix with good looks (obviously) and a whole lot of personality! He’s a total sweetheart who's curious yet neutral and confident with the world around him. Buddy has two modes: impressively well-behaved… and joyful agent of chaos. In his energetic moments, he loves playfully bouncing and happily running around — all in good fun. He’s gentle at heart and clearly eager to engage, despite being excited to be apart of all the fun! Buddy will thrive in a home that can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and patience for his enthusiastic bursts of energy. With structure, outlets for play, and lots of love, he’ll be a fantastic companion.

Shiloh is looking for a forever home! She is 12 years old and weighs 30 pounds.  Shiloh is a beautiful deep chocolate and white cocker spaniel. Shiloh is house trained and has excellent leash and car manners. Check her strutting her stuff here!  Shiloh loves everyone and greets them with a wagging tail.  Shiloh was raised with children and the prior owner said she was great with kids.  Shiloh enjoys playing with toys and will bring them back to you if you throw them for her.  She is a very sweet girl.  She is currently an only pup in her foster home; however, in a previous home she did well with the other smaller foster pup.  If you can open your home to Shiloh, please email us at adoptme@cockerspanielrescue.com. She is ready to start the rest of her life now!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 17, 2026, 9:07 am

Bo know he is an adorable cocker spaniel looking for his forever home!  Bo is ~7 years old and 26 pounds of pure sweetness.  He was found as a stray and did great with other pups.  Bo happily wags his tail with each person that he meets and has great leash manners.  He was an excellent car rider too.  Bo is keeping his crate clean so we think he is house trained. Would you like to add Bo to your home?  He is located in Alexandria, VA. Story
Hi, I'm Ocean, and I am a pretty active guy. I'd say I am medium energy as I really get excited about exploring my surroundings. I am crate trained and settle nicely once I've had an opportunity to exercise. I also know "sit". My foster reports that I am a lovely dog, super friendly with all the dogs and humans. I can get a little barky, but it just may be that I like to 'talk' to all the other dogs here! If you are interested in adopting me, please apply today. Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor. Donations help us offset vetting, boarding costs, and additional medical treatments for dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at: hattonanimalrescue.org.
