Hello – my name is Parker. I am a healthy, one year old Collie/Shepherd mix. I was rescued from the cold dog park (hence my name) in October 2022 and have been enjoying the good life. I am chipped, I have my own comfortable crate, feeding station and plenty of toys and puzzles. I am full of life and just love to have fun and be silly. My signature move is running as fast as I can from one end of the backyard to the other, rolling around in the dirt on my back- and waiting to hear “good boy Parker”.  I have lots of energy and I would love to be in a home with a leader who will give me lots of exercise and structure.  I am housebroken and I  know how to use the “doggie doors'.  My foster has discovered that I would do best being the 'only' dog in the household.  I have learned several commands and I also walk great on a leash unless I stop to sniff something.  I love to learn because I’m smart and I want to please – I just need a  confident person to show me the way.   Please contact : Rhonda Baldwin 562-708-4944 or (baldwinlocks@gmail.com       These dogs are looking for homes through private parties in the Los Angeles CA area. This handsome boy was an owner surrender. When they could no longer care for him they gave him up. He was in a home with two kids. Chance LOVES other dogs and is great with people he knows. He is not good with strangers and cannot go to a home that has people coming in and out.    He loves to go for walks, play with squeaky toys, other dogs, and jump in his baby pool for a dip on hot days… Or even cold days.     He can become protective over his home so again we are looking for a 1 to 2 person household who doesn’t mind putting the dog away when guests come over or the pool/lawn man. Ziva is a lucky dog! She was absconded in a rural area where she lived out in the open field for a few months. Locals put out food but she would never come close enough for them to grab her and get her to safety. Finally someone reached out to our friends at HOPE FOR PAWS and they went out there and were able to trap her. She appeared to have had puppies recently but they were nowhere to be found. Maybe the dumper kept the puppies and dumped her??? We just don’t know. She’s great with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. She does have a “momma bear” side to her and she will bark to alert you to strangers but she quickly calms down. She is affectionate but not needy, attentive and happy. First photo is from where she was abandoned. She’s goofy and loving.

Meet Bada🩵 (It means sea in Korean) At the end of June 2022, Bada was admitted to the shelter with a fractured front leg. Bandaged in the hot weather, his wound attracted flies, and upon examination after rescue, his bones were misaligned, requiring a second surgery. Now, his bones have healed well, and he is happily running around without any issues. 😊 * Interaction with People : Bada is extremely fond of people. He's a sweetheart to humans, always greeting them with a big smile, which is so adorable. ❤ * Interaction with Dogs: He can be assertive towards dogs who play rough, so caution is needed. Tends to avoid encountering dogs with whom he had a clash at the Center. * Potty Training: He's been doing outdoor potty at the Center. * Hygiene: He's cooperative with ear cleaning and doesn't resist. However, he might whine when getting his nails trimmed as he's not used to it, so regular walks to grind his nails are necessary. * Walking: He follows people without pulling on the leash. Sometimes, he may resist going where he doesn't want to, but with leash training, he'll likely improve quickly. * Car Sickness: He's fine in the car and doesn't experience motion sickness at all! 💌Special Notes💌 * Separation anxiety and toilet training are still unknown as he's been living in a group at the center. * He rarely barks unnecessarily, but sometimes, he may bark alertly at external noises. He stops when called. * Bada enjoys being with people and receiving love while resting, so a place where he can receive undivided attention would be ideal. ☺️ He also enjoys his alone time when needed!

Meet Jjanggu💜 He came to Korean city shelter in the hot summer in August. He appeared as if someone took good care of him but abandoned him there. Whenever people passed by, he'd ask for love with a "Please~" gesture.😢 Jjanggu is eagerly waiting for a loving, furever family so that he's never lonely again. * Separation anxiety: Can play and rest alone, tends to have a no separation anxiety. *Potty-training: Tries not to have a potty indoor by waiting and prefers 100% outside potty! * Energy Level (1~10): Lv. 8 * Affectionate towards his foster family and rely on main protector! Enjoys being loved 🥰 * Approach strangers well, but he barks when he sees someone wearing black clothes at night. * Loves dog friends! Since he play style is a bit rough, it would be nice if you could teach him how to play together 🙂 * Curious but timid. It takes time to adapt, but learns quickly! * Has an energetic personality! He always greet with a sunny smile ☺️ * Rides elevators well and waits patiently. * Rides cars well without getting car sick! He try to approach people, so he needs to be watched over. * Favorites: Doggy pals, treats, and people. 💙 Health issues : heartworm treatment completed (Will retest in June, 2024)
