Story
Terri is a 1‑year‑old smooth collie mix weighing just 23 lbs — a compact, cheerful little guy with a bright, happy personality. Friendly with his handlers and affectionate with everyone he meets, Terri is the kind of dog who makes people smile without even trying. At the shelter, he walked around other dogs with a wagging tail and an easy, social attitude. He loves to run and play, enjoys exploring, and brings a joyful energy to every outing. Terri’s cute personality and affectionate nature make him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a small, lively, loving dog. Terri is available for adoption in the Greater Los Angeles area. He’s ready to bring fun, affection, and plenty of tail wags into a home of his own. Story
#A5756118 Meet Bonnie , our 3-year-old Border Collie mix who looks like a super soft, floofy white cloud dusted with inky black spots and the cutest little pink patch on her snoot. This sweet girl is charmingly vocal in her kennel - she simply has lots of thoughts to share and is eager for someone to listen! When our volunteers stopped by, Bonnie sat so politely at the front of her kennel, quick to settle and more than happy to soak up every bit of love and attention. She’s joyful, bright, and bouncy, with a huge, happy grin that will absolutely steal your heart. Whether as a playful little sister to another pup you may already have, or the solo queen of your castle, Bonnie would make a wonderful addition to so many homes. Come meet this radiant girl and let her light up your life today! -3 year old white and black Border Collie mix -42 pound female -up-to-date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! However, Bonnie was a stray and has a few itchies that are still healing, and she may have been exposed to a doggy cold at the shelter - fortunately, these are mild issues and she is already being treated, so they should resolve quickly! She also needs a spay, which will keep her safe and healthy as she ages - she should be your baby, not having babies! Just to be safe, she will need to be adopted on a health waiver - adopter to follow up with their own vet for further diagnostics and potential treatment. -Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 2/15/26 as a stray -soft and cuddly, perfect for cozy moments spent together -such a bright and sunny personality, with a megawatt grin that will have you wrapped around her paw in no time! -polite, laid back, and easy going - great as both a solo pet or a new sibling to any pups you may already have   BONNIE’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/uECxyGRDn40   For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
A5755005 Billy is a 6-month-old male Queensland Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) with a stunning red merle coat and beautifully frosted white fur accented by a bold orange patch. Weighing 44 lbs as of February 10, Billy was found as a stray on February 9 and is still just a baby trying to navigate the overwhelming shelter environment.&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 When first seen, Billy was lying quietly in his kennel, looking a little unsure — a shelter is no place for a young, intelligent working-breed pup. He was initially shy around the camera but quickly gained confidence and came forward with gentle encouragement. His soft expression and handsome coloring make him unforgettable. Billy just needs reassurance, structure, and a loving home where he can grow into the confident, loyal companion he’s meant to be. -6 months old, male, 44 lbs -Queensland Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog), red merle coat -Found as a stray on 02/09/2026 -Young and shy in the shelter -Gained confidence with gentle encouragement -Beautiful frosted white fur with orange markings -Soft expression and sweet demeanor -Smart, active breed that needs engagement -Ready for a patient home to help him blossom     BILLY’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/CTL For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org   Look up this or other animals at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center https://animalcare.lacounty.gov/view-our-animals/    Use their unique ID NUMBER.
