Poor Sweet Ollie! This baby was being given away on facebook marketplace :( They said he was good/potty trained etc, but he's a very shy dog that needs a calm home that can help him trust people and learn how to be a dog. He is not in the right environment to learn leash training/potty training etc. He is in a very hectic environment and no one has time for him. He needs a calm home w/someone w/patience to help him or even another balanced dog in the home that can help him understand what he's supposed to do. He's in Orange County, but for an adoptive home or foster home he can be transported to Los Angeles. Hi! I'm Shynae-a DREAM dog! Ask all the people who know me! I'm a 4-5 year old Collie mix on a diet (I am around 47 lbs but should weigh 40 lbs) who is good with everyone! Dogs, kids, cats-i love everyone! I walk beautifully on leash (the kids even get to walk me that's how good I am ) and I am house broken too! I can't wait to meet you! *please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. Pet Information #A5572927 Han is a fantastic 2 year old tricolor (black, white, and copper) neutered male Collie and Husky mix who came as a stray to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on August 12. Weighing 48 lbs Han is an absolutely stunning dog with brilliant blue eyes and gorgeous markings. Smart Han also knows several commands including come, sit, and shake. Our volunteer said, “WOW” about this brilliant boy with movie star good looks. On leash he pulls a bit at first and then follows along pretty well with his handler, and he checks in for direction which is always great to see. While in the shelter Han was treated for a bladder stone and he seems to be doing great now. An outside veterinarian can provide a plan for any further treatment that may or may not be needed. OK with other large dogs, Han was recommended for the Gentle/Dainty playgroup. Hello – my name is Parker. I am a healthy, one year old Collie/Shepherd mix. I was rescued from the cold dog park (hence my name) in October 2022 and have been enjoying the good life. I am chipped, I have my own comfortable crate, feeding station and plenty of toys and puzzles. I am full of life and just love to have fun and be silly. Ziva is a lucky dog! She was absconded in a rural area where she lived out in the open field for a few months. Locals put out food but she would never come close enough for them to grab her and get her to safety. Finally someone reached out to our friends at HOPE FOR PAWS and they went out there and were able to trap her. She appeared to have had puppies recently but they were nowhere to be found. Maybe the dumper kept the puppies and dumped her??? We just don’t know. She’s great with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. She does have a “momma bear” side to her and she will bark to alert you to strangers but she quickly calms down. She is affectionate but not needy, attentive and happy.

Effie is awesome! She lights up when she sees children and she is happy to greet new people. She’s good with most other dogs, not sure about cats but we can always cat test if needed. Effie and her humans moved here to LA from another state, from a house with a yard to an apartment in the city. Effie is not adjusting to the major change. They thought the building had a “dog park” but it’s a 10x10 poop filled pen. They can’t get out of their lease and they reached out for help with finding a better situation for Effie. They are doing the selfless thing by looking for a home with a yard or a patio where Effie can have her sunbathing time and space. 3yo, beautiful mutt, approx 50lbs, great on leash and in the car. Well socialized, fixed, vaccinated, no health issues.
