What can we say about Wally? Well, despite his face, he is 100% not a corgi. We dunno what he is but it’s not that. He’s actually a bigger boy than he looks at first. He’s very sweet, seems to be a medium energy level (but he mighta been lying) and a terrific hugger. He does this adorable tail vibration thing when he gets activated by something that is super unique. He’s a little serious in the shelter, but we can tell his inner goofball is in there somewhere, just waiting for an outlet. He’s really curious, and a big fan of getting brushed actually- we did that for a good while. He’s gonna need humans who can handle his size, help him find his confidence, and take him on adventures so his curiosity can be satisfied. He also appreciates being told how pretty he is and what great ears he has- so that will be a daily (or hourly) requirement for his forever humans. Ziva is a lucky dog! She was absconded in a rural area where she lived out in the open field for a few months. Locals put out food but she would never come close enough for them to grab her and get her to safety. Finally someone reached out to our friends at HOPE FOR PAWS and they went out there and were able to trap her. She appeared to have had puppies recently but they were nowhere to be found. Maybe the dumper kept the puppies and dumped her??? We just don’t know. She’s great with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. She does have a “momma bear” side to her and she will bark to alert you to strangers but she quickly calms down. She is affectionate but not needy, attentive and happy. Last photo is from where she was abandoned. She’s goofy and loving. Total Romantic.

Meet Zeus. He is a sweet and playful 13 month old puppy looking for his forever home. His mom is a collie mix perhaps with Australian shepherd. Zeus has her sweet nature, intelligence and easy-going attitude. He and his 8 brothers and sisters and mom were saved when mom, Lady, was likely dumped outside of a school. Lady went to live in a foster home and birthed her brood 2 weeks later on March 15. Zeus is ready to find his forever home!

They also must be adopted together. As typical with siblings in some ways they are super similar and in other ways they`re exact opposites. Ozzie is bigger and spottier and in the kennel he`s very protective, but in the yard all he wants isattention and affection. Harriet is more petite and perkier of ear. In the kennels she`s very avoidant and shy, but in the yard she was ready to play all day. Both are a bit leash reactive and pull- so that will need some consistant training with theirfamily.
