Story
Ziva is a lucky dog! She was absconded in a rural area where she lived out in the open field for a few months. Locals put out food but she would never come close enough for them to grab her and get her to safety. Finally someone reached out to our friends at HOPE FOR PAWS and they went out there and were able to trap her. She appeared to have had puppies recently but they were nowhere to be found. Maybe the dumper kept the puppies and dumped her??? We just don’t know. She’s great with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. She does have a “momma bear” side to her and she will bark to alert you to strangers but she quickly calms down. She is affectionate but not needy, attentive and happy. Last photo is from where she was abandoned. She’s goofy and loving. Total Romantic.

Story
A synonym for grace is kindness... and our Gracie is the very definition of both. On April 20th, we reached out for help for three severely neglected Collies—Gracie, Solomon, and Sam—as well as a bottle feeder for two precious newborn puppies. Despite dedicated veterinary care and the unwavering commitment of their foster, the puppies sadly did not survive. Their sweet mama, Gracie, did. Now this kind-hearted girl is ready to find the forever home she has always deserved. At 7 years old, Gracie's life hasn't been an easy one. She spent years living outdoors in filthy conditions, knowing very little human kindness. Today, she's discovering the simple joys every dog should have—a warm bed, a full belly, gentle hands, and people who love her. And she absolutely blossoms with human connection. When asked to describe Gracie in one word, her foster didn't hesitate: "Kind." Gracie gets along well with other dogs, though she still carries a bit of her mama personality and may gently correct bad behavior when she sees it. She is crate trained, leash trained, and eager to please. Because she has had limited exposure to the world outside her previous environment, she is still learning about new sounds, places, and experiences. Her ideal home is one that will continue showing her patience, love, and guidance as she discovers how wonderful life can be. Gracie isn't the kind of dog who demands endless games of fetch. Instead, she's looking for something much more meaningful—a companion to share life's quiet moments with. Whether as a friend to another dog or as someone's cherished princess, Gracie is ready to give her whole heart to the people who give her a chance. After everything she's endured, we think it's finally Gracie's turn to be loved. Could you be the happy ending she's been waiting for? Story
Some dogs come into your life for a reason. We believe Stardust is one of them. Stardust is searching for the one thing she's never truly had—a person to call her own. Her soulmate. Her best friend. Her forever. While she can tolerate and even get along with other dogs, Stardust's heart is telling us she'd be happiest as your one and only. Your shadow. Your Velcro companion. The one who greets you every morning, follows you from room to room, and reminds you every day just how special the bond between a person and their dog can be. Cats you ask? Although she might be “ok” with cats, we think she’d be best as the only pet in the household. Many of you have followed Stardust's journey. She is deaf and partially blind, but those are simply details—they do not define her. She has adapted beautifully and navigates the world with incredible confidence. She learns quickly, maps out her surroundings in no time, and runs with such joy and freedom that you'd never guess she has any limitations. She's incredibly intelligent, eager to learn (especially when treats are involved!), and happiest when she's close to her people. Picture this... Watching the sunset on the porch? Stardust will be beside you, resting her head in your lap. Working from home? She'll be snoozing contentedly at your feet. Heading out for an adventure? She'll be ready. At the end of the day? She'd love nothing more than a little space on your bed and the comfort of knowing she's finally home. Stardust is a petite girl, weighing just 41 pounds, and we estimate she's between 2 and 3 years old. Her perfect home is one where someone is home most of the time or has a lifestyle that allows their dog to be part of everyday life. More than anything, she's looking for connection, companionship, and the chance to love someone with her whole heart. Could Stardust be the heart dog you've been waiting for? The one who doesn't hear your voice but knows your love. The one who doesn't see every detail but sees you with her heart. The one who will be endlessly devoted, grateful, and by your side through life's everyday moments. Please help us find the person who has been searching for her without even knowing it. If you think that person might be you please fill out an application at: https://collie.org/adoptapplication

Story
CHELSEY: Australian Cattle Dog Mix • Spayed Female • 6 Months Old • 16 lbs Chelsey is a very shy, calm, and gentle little girl with a sweet and docile temperament. She rarely barks, is not destructive, and enjoys the company of other dogs. She loves playing with her canine friends and sleeps comfortably in a crate. Because of her quiet and easygoing nature, Chelsey would make a wonderful companion for a patient and loving family. Chelsey and her siblings were cruelly abandoned outside the rescuer’s home in a cardboard box sealed with tape and left under the hot sun. The puppies were suffering from severe heat exposure, and tragically, two of them did not survive. Chelsey is one of the little survivors now hoping for a safe, caring forever home where she will always be protected and loved. Every dog deserves a safe and loving home. Story
ARYA: Border Collie Mix | Spayed Female | 1 Year Old | 24 lbs Meet ARYA, a sweet and affectionate Border Collie mix who is ready to discover what a loving home truly feels like. ARYA is a friendly, gentle, and happy girl who loves being around people and sharing her affection. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoys children, and has a playful, active personality. ARYA loves toys, exploring, going for car rides, and watching the world go by. She adapts easily to new situations, is not anxious, does not bark excessively, and is a wonderful companion. Her loving and docile nature makes her a special girl who simply wants to be close to the people who care for her. ARYA’s past was very difficult. She spent much of her early life confined to a cage, without the love, attention, and care every dog deserves. When she was finally given freedom, she showed how happy and grateful she is to experience life. She now enjoys every moment, looking for kindness, companionship, and a family who will show her what love feels like. ARYA is waiting for a forever home where she can continue to grow, play, and be loved every day. In the canine heart, there is always hope. Every dog deserves a safe and loving home.
