Story
Hey there everyone! I'm Oscar, a 6-month-old Collie mix weighing about 25 pounds. I'm a super sweet and precious pup, always ready to shower you with love and affection. I came here with my two siblings, Ollie and Olivia, who are also on the hunt for their forever homes. Though we’re looking for separate families, I'm excited to find a loving home where I can thrive and share my playful and loving nature. I also get along wonderfully with other dogs and love making new friends. So don’t wait any longer, apply today to adopt or foster me! Oscar is available for adoption but is also in need of a foster home. To Adopt (or foster-to-adopt), please complete the adoption application here: https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application To Foster, please complete the foster application here: https://anewchancear.org/foster/fostering-application/ Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Kona adores children, people & her foster doggie brother in her foster home, making her a fantastic companion for anyone. Her love for food and treats is undeniable, and she quickly settles in as a beloved member of the family. She is fully house trained, walks well on a leash & is happy to explore her environment. Kona is ready to bring joy, love, and plenty of snuggles to her forever family♥️ Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bella (AL) is a female Collie mix estimated to be 18 months of age at time of rescue from AL in March 2023. She weighed 26 pounds at that time. Bella is good with people and other dogs, is up to date on core vaccines, has been spayed, and is microchipped. Bella is the perfect lady with beautiful black fur, no chewing, no excessive barking, just excessive snuggles and kisses. She is also intelligent and affectionate, and her favorite pastime is being hugged and petted. Bella would love a home where her people will spend lots of time loving on her. Bella would also love a fenced in backyard or a home with people who can take her on long walks throughout the day.  This beautiful girl likes her crate and will quietly hang out there when needed.  Bella is smart, well-behaved and such a love.  She's good with other dogs but would do best in a home with older children who can respect boundaries. Bella is a great dog who will be a wonderfully loving addition to her forever family. If you would like Bella to be the addition to your family, please apply online to adopt Bella (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. *********************RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 21, 2024, 12:15 pm

Story
These babies were brought to us after a lady’s neighbor left the pregnant mama. She kept the mom but could not keep her babies. This is a fun group of pups! They aren't very loud, do not bark a bunch unless playing. They do well in a crate, usually just go to sleep. Very sweet group that would do well with any type of family. They will probably do well with some exercise but a yard isn’t necessary if walked enough. They would do well on hikes or other outside adventures.
