Story

Meet our precious Butterscotch. She is a Riverside Shelter survivor who was in danger of euthanasia due to having a seizure disorder. Butterscotch is a 1 year old Papillion/Corgi Mix and weighs about 12 lbs. She’s a sweet girl with a beautiful smile and a beautiful spirit. She’s resilient and strong. She currently lives in a foster home with other dogs and where someone is home 24/7. We are currently trying a new treatment for her seizures and are still trying to find the best approach to control them. Butterscotch has both grand mal seizures (seldomly) and focal seizures more frequently. Her forever family will need to be committed to her medicine regimen and also having patience with navigating her challenges. She will do best in a home with experienced dog owners who are patient and will also have the dedication to navigate through her challenges with her. She loves chew toys, she's very treat motivated, and she’s dog and cat friendly. She’s a happy girl with a beautiful spirit. She will bring her new family lots of love and joy. We are excited to help her find her new forever family. Daisy came to us from a Sacramento shelter. She is partially blind, but does hear. Whoever had her before loved her because she is very well behaved and trained to use potty pads. She does well with other does and cats. Loves to be held and hugged. When she's sleeping her tail wags. She's so sweet. ##2020889##

JoJo is a 3.5-year-old, 29 lb., sweet boy. He came from a local high kill shelter and need out. He was quite overweight when we got him and is doing good with losing a few lbs. He has scar tissue in his left ear, and it causes it to fall forward. Does not bother him though... He does good in the car and walking on leash. Pulls a little but learns quick with correction. He knows some basic commands... like sit, stay, come, etc. This cute guy is looking for his safe forever home. As usual we do highly recommend positive reinforcement training to ensure a well-behaved puppy/dog. The adoption fee is $400 which includes: spay/neuter, microchipping with registration, up to date on vaccines, rabies vaccine (for dogs and pups over 4 months at time of alter), deworming, and topical flea treatment application (as needed). Calvin was rescued by my husband 10 years ago. He is loyal and protective. Loves long walks and to nap in the sun. He does not like swimming but loves to sun bathe at the beach. Hikes are fun for him too. He’s adventurous even at 11 years old. There is nothing wrong with this good boy we just can’t take him in our move. He is also crate trained.

Our handsome and sweet boy Burrito was rescued (with his four babies - Ceviche, Salsa, Enchilada and Taquito) from horrible neglect and physical abuse. He spent the first 6 or 7 year of his life chained up outside of a factory in South Korea where he spent his days in fear of his abusers. As soon as we rescued Burrito, we took him to the vet where he was diagnosed with heartworm. Luckily we were able to get him treated right away and he is now a healthy and happy little hunk. He recently took his freedom flight from Korea to LA and is loving life in his first ever home! Despite his traumatic past, Burrito is a sweet, calm and loving boy.
