Princeton is a fun loving boy. He did really well in foster and appears to be housebroken.  He is a smart young boy who would do well with an active family.  He loves to run around, so a fenced in yard would be best for him.  Princeton  would prefer to be the only dog in the home and no young children. Story
Gary is a Gorgy mix, estimated 6-year-old neutered dog who was rescued on July 1, 2024, from a high-traffic area in Caguas, PR. Gary is vaccinated, on preventives, and tested 4dx negative. He has shown himself to be friendly with both people and other dogs. He enjoys morning walks, eats well alongside other dogs, sleeps well, and travels comfortably in his kennel. Gary is very active and mostly does his business outside. He would thrive in an active family that can provide him with regular playtime and walks, ideally one or two times a day. Gary would be a great pet for a family that loves adventure and outdoor activities.

Story
S'mores is a terrific dog who needs a specific, extremely dog savvy home. Yes, he's adorable but if you have never had a dog before or never worked w a dog with guarding issues before ...he is not for you. Corgis can be stubborn and difficult to begin with but this guy ..no idea where he came from. All we know he was tied to a pole by yankee stadium in 90 degree weather. When a volunteer went to get him he got aggressive. He didn't want to be touched in the foster home unless he initiated it, and he was a nightmare at the vet. He did bite. I dont blame him at all. This being said, now he loves attention. He rolls over for belly rubs at events and jumps up for attention.  S'mores must have grown up with a lot of dogs because he loves dogs and he loves to play. Another dog ( meet required ) is a must. S'mores is 2 to 3 yrs old, 24 lbs  As for his people, ADULT only.  He needs a leader, someone who understands how to give a dog space and boundaries . You can't let him run the house or go on the sofa ( although they have cute sized dog sofas). He is a serious food guarder so put him in a separate room when he eats or crate. Just because S'mores has issues, it doesn't mean he is a bad dog.  What it means is he needs a better listener!! People think "oh,if i show him a ton of love he will never bite me."  No, he will think you are weak and bite you. Yes; he needs love, but you need to earn it. If you give S'mores space and time and take it slow..you will have the best dog, but you can't rush it. S'mores will run and play with his dog friends all day long, but he must have an old hip injury because after a lot of hard core play he needed crate rest for a day. You can't forget that he's still a little guy and other big dogs can jump on him and hurt him. RECAP: Adult, experienced home...just because you have had a bunch of easy dogs doesn't mean you know anything about dogs w issues!! S'mores is loving and playful but he needs space...Good leader Willing to hire a trainer ( not one who ie abusive )PatientFenced yardDogs to play with Please go to the link to fill our our adoption application.  https://www.remembermerescueny.net/adoption-application  Remember Me Rescue does not adopt out of the local area, no transport is available.  We adopt to Long Island, Westchester, NYC area and parts of Connecticut only. Is so affectionate with familiar people that she wags her tail and bunts her head, asking to be petted. * With Dogs: Plays better with male dogs than female dogs. May occasionally show irritability toward similarly sized female dogs. Needs some time to be accustomed to new dogs. * Separation Anxiety: Does not exhibit separation anxiety and spends time alone comfortably. * Potty Training: Uses outdoor pottying only since she stays in a group at the center. * Grooming and Hygiene: Is not yet fully comfortable with baths and nail trimming but is gradually getting used to them through practice. * Walking and Outdoor Behavior: Is not fully accustomed to walks yet but is slowly being introduced to them.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 Meet Thunder⚡ 💙 Adogs Update Account: @_adogs_everyday 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered: Not yet. * Others: Microchipped and getting heartworm treatment. * Successfully underwent abdominal fluid removal surgery and is now in recovery. Requires continued care and monitoring until he regains full health. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Thunder was staying at the Gimje Shelter. He loved people and greeted everyone with a wagging tail there. Despite his cheerful nature, his health was deteriorating. He had severe abdominal swelling due to fluid retention, and the harsh winter, along with the risk of infectious diseases, made his condition even more dangerous. Seeing his urgent need for medical attention, Adogs rescued him just in time to get the care he desperately needed. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Adores people! Wags his tail excitedly and enjoys being petted. Loves warmth and affection of people, often rubbing against them like a cat to show his love! * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs generally. Enjoys observing his dog friends rather than actively playing with them. Has a few favorite playmates with whom he interacts more! * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides with other dogs at our center. * Potty Training: Is good at using potty pads as well as outdoor potty. * Walks: Is a pro walker without pulling on the leash. * Car Sickness: Rides well in a car without car sickness.
