Rustty is an adorable 8 month old male corgi! Loves other dogs and playing with his toys. He was surrendered from a puppymill in Lancaster PA Working on housebreaking - he is using the doggy door and getting better with it. Rusty definately needs leash work. He pancakes on leash LOL Very affectionate with hoomans. Wants to kiss all the time. Rusty is neuterred and current on vaccines. He weighs in at 21lbs. Cupcake is fabulous! She is between 2 & 3 years old and weighs approx 24 lbs. She loves to play with other dogs and her toys. She was found wandering in a field from a puppymill in Lancaster PA. Housebreaking is coming along, she uses a doggy door but still has some accidents in the house. Training will have to continue. Cupcake walks very well on leash. She has been spayed and treated for a bladder infection. She is 100% now and enjoying life thorougly. Cupcake is located in Freeport NY. Her adoption fee is $700 ##2640091##

Audrey is a beautiful 8 month old corgi. She is tiny and weighs in at 17lbs. Audrey loves hoomans and other dogs. She is very curious about kitties. Audrey has strong herding instincts and nibbles her foster mom on a regular basis so a home with small children is not recommended unless you have extensive corgi experience. S'mores is a terrific dog who needs a specific, extremely dog savvy home. Yes, he's adorable but if you have never had a dog before or never worked w a dog with guarding issues before ...he is not for you. Corgis can be stubborn and difficult to begin with but this guy ..no idea where he came from. All we know he was tied to a pole by yankee stadium in 90 degree weather. When a volunteer went to get him he got aggressive. He didn't want to be touched in the foster home unless he initiated it, and he was a nightmare at the vet. He did bite. I dont blame him at all. This being said, now he loves attention. He rolls over for belly rubs at events and jumps up for attention. S'mores must have grown up with a lot of dogs because he loves dogs and he loves to play. Another dog ( meet required ) is a must. S'mores is 2 to 3 yrs old, 24 lbs As for his people, ADULT only. He needs a leader, someone who understands how to give a dog space and boundaries . You can't let him run the house or go on the sofa ( although they have cute sized dog sofas). He is a serious food guarder so put him in a separate room when he eats or crate. Just because S'mores has issues, it doesn't mean he is a bad dog. What it means is he needs a better listener!! People think "oh,if i show him a ton of love he will never bite me." No, he will think you are weak and bite you. Yes; he needs love, but you need to earn it. If you give S'mores space and time and take it slow..you will have the best dog, but you can't rush it. S'mores will run and play with his dog friends all day long, but he must have an old hip injury because after a lot of hard core play he needed crate rest for a day. You can't forget that he's still a little guy and other big dogs can jump on him and hurt him. Meet Shiva – A Brave Mama with a Gentle Heart Shiva is a 3,5-year-old, 40-pound pup with a pure soul and an incredibly strong spirit. Though she may be shy at first, beneath her reserved nature is a loving dog who has already shown extraordinary courage and devotion. Shiva’s story is one of resilience and motherhood. She was found living on an empty lot, where she bravely gave birth to and nurtured nine puppies despite having no shelter or security of her own. Thanks to the compassion of a kindhearted woman, Shiva and her entire little family were brought to our partner, SOS el Arca Animal Rescue, where they received the care, safety, and love they so deeply needed. As a mama, Shiva was attentive, patient, and deeply nurturing, and that gentle, motherly nature shines through in everything she does. She is great with other dogs and cats, and exceptionally gentle with children—calm, watchful, and loving, just like a true mama. Shiva would fit beautifully into many types of households thanks to her calm, gentle personality — with just the cutest funny twist! She absolutely lights up when her foster gives her little treats like boiled egg or chicken. She gets so excited that she does a happy dance, wiggling her hips side to side with pure joy. It’s impossible not to smile watching her! She’s a sweet, steady girl who enjoys the simple things in life — love, comfort, and tasty snacks. Shiva is being fostered in Manhattan with a family who two kids and one dog. She goes to Central Park and she loves it! She loves going on walks and curios about the world around her.
