Story
Lucille is nothing short of amazing. This 2-year old, 30-pound Corgi/Shepherd mix is gentle, sweet, housebroken, friendly, and affectionate. And soooo soooo pretty! Great with other dogs, children, and humans, Lucille never met a living creature she didn’t like. She even enjoys watching her foster family’s Guinea pigs playing around in their cage. Lucille is very cuddly with people and loves being pet and massaged. When you lay down, she will often join you while tenderly licking your toes. She’s very generous with her kisses. Lucille knows her name and responds to the commands sit and come. She is excellent on a leash and travels well by car. Lucille is extremely fond of the outdoors and is particularly joyful on warm sunny days when she can work on her tan ;-). An infrequent barker and a minimal shedder, Lucille is easy in a million different ways. She eats well, but is not at all obsessed with food or treats. She loves playing with toys, but can be totally chill when the vibe of the household calls for quiet time. An anything goes type of pup! The ideal size, the ideal temperament, and the ideal age, Lucille checks off a lot of boxes. If you’re in the market for a new furry friend, don’t let this angel girl pass you by. **Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Introducing the one and only River Windsor! River is a friendly gal who loves people and is always up for a good time. She's also a total cuddle bug when it's time to wind down. She loves attention, but when meeting new people or dogs she can be shy. She gets nervous around bigger dogs, too. River likes to go on walks and hang out with her favorite people. She is crate trained and is doing well on her house training. If you're looking for a furry friend who's both fun and sweet, look no further than River! She came to us as an owner surrender and has had bloodwork that looked great! She is a corgi that weighs 30 pounds and is around 4 years old. Interested in becoming a forever home for River? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 Meet Tree 🌳 💙 Adogs News Updates: @_adogs_everyday 1⃣ Health Status * Spayed: Yes. * Others: Microchipped, and heartworm negative upon request. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Tree gave birth to #AdogsEunhang and littermates in an auto repair shop. The kind staff fed her and her puppies, but after Eunhang was injured in a car accident, Adogs rescued her urgently. While Eunhang was adopted abroad, Tree ended up in a shelter. She was later rescued and is now being cared for at the Adogs center. 3⃣ Personality and Behavior * With People: Likes people but is a little shy. Is so affectionate with familiar people that she wags her tail and bunts her head, asking to be petted. * With Dogs: Plays better with male dogs than female dogs. May occasionally show irritability toward similarly sized female dogs. Needs some time to be accustomed to new dogs. * Separation Anxiety: Does not exhibit separation anxiety and spends time alone comfortably. * Potty Training: Uses outdoor pottying only since she stays in a group at the center. * Grooming and Hygiene: Is not yet fully comfortable with baths and nail trimming but is gradually getting used to them through practice. * Walking and Outdoor Behavior: Is not fully accustomed to walks yet but is slowly being introduced to them.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 Meet Thunder⚡ 💙 Adogs Update Account: @_adogs_everyday 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered: Not yet. * Others: Microchipped and getting heartworm treatment. * Successfully underwent abdominal fluid removal surgery and is now in recovery. Requires continued care and monitoring until he regains full health. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Thunder was staying at the Gimje Shelter. He loved people and greeted everyone with a wagging tail there. Despite his cheerful nature, his health was deteriorating. He had severe abdominal swelling due to fluid retention, and the harsh winter, along with the risk of infectious diseases, made his condition even more dangerous. Seeing his urgent need for medical attention, Adogs rescued him just in time to get the care he desperately needed. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Adores people! Wags his tail excitedly and enjoys being petted. Loves warmth and affection of people, often rubbing against them like a cat to show his love! * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs generally. Enjoys observing his dog friends rather than actively playing with them. Has a few favorite playmates with whom he interacts more! * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides with other dogs at our center. * Potty Training: Is good at using potty pads as well as outdoor potty. * Walks: Is a pro walker without pulling on the leash. * Car Sickness: Rides well in a car without car sickness.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 Meet Victor❤️ 💙 Victor's News Account: @jjamooong._ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed: Yes. * Others: Microchipped, dental scaling completed, and heartworm negative upon retest. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Victor was found tied up with a tight collar in a gravel field. Before rescued by an Adogs volunteer, she had been left unattended for a long time, surrounded by stale food. Initially, she looked scared but quickly let her guard down and approached, wagging her tail happily. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: May bark briefly when strangers enter the house. As soon as she is petted, she warms up immediately and starts showing affection. With familiar people, she loves snuggling and rolling onto her back for belly rubs. Enjoys staying close to people, often leaning against them for comfort! * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs, even sleeping next to her foster sibling. During walks, she sometimes gets excited when meeting other dogs. However, recently she calms down quickly after showing brief interest. * With Cats: Shows less excitement toward cats compared to dogs. * Separation Anxiety: Experiences separation anxiety when alone. Tends to howl once an hour when left alone. Occasionally, she may also have accidents indoors due to stress. Is receiving training and gradually improving. However, with another dog or a person, she does not show signs of anxiety. * Potty Training: Is excellent at using pee pads, even in a new environment. Remembers the initial location of the pad and prefers it to remain in the same spot. Prefers outdoor potty breaks when possible. * Hygiene: Loves baths and brushing. Is scared of ear cleaning solution, so it is done with a protective cone on. Is very fearful of nail trimming, so her nails are naturally worn down through walks. * Walks: Walks beautifully in sync with her handler. At the start of a walk or when she sees dogs, birds, or cats, she may pull on the leash out of excitement, though. Extra attention is needed in those moments. * Car Sickness: Doesn't get car sick but still feels uneasy when separated from people in the car. Prefers to sit on a lap. 4⃣ Special Notes * Has mastered the commands: “Sit,” “Lie Down,” “Spin,” “Paw,” “Wait,” “House,” “Kiss,” “Fancy,” “Nose Touch,” and “Come”. * Rarely barks—if she does, she stops immediately upon hearing “Sit.” * Tends to bite when she is held by the doctor at the vet’s office. Stays calm and gets treatment well if she is held by her guardian and then placed at the treatment room.
