Story
Meet Honey – A Sweetheart Looking for Her Forever Home! Honey is a beautiful 2-year-old, 35-pound pocket pittie with a heart full of love. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. This special girl walks well on a leash and has a moderate energy level—she enjoys her daily strolls and exploring the yard. Honey had an injury as a puppy that gives her a unique gait, and she also experiences some incontinence. However, she’s making great progress with potty training and will go outside when taken out frequently. Honey would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely explore. She would do best as an only pet or with a calm dog of similar size. No cats or small dogs, please. Due to her needs, a home with children aged 12 and up is preferred. Honey is ready to find a patient, loving family who will cherish her for the special dog she is. Could that be you? Fill out an application today and meet this sweet girl!

Story
PLEASE READ THIS PROFILE AND THE REQUESTED CRITERIA BEFORE CALLING OR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION HERE’S BONNIE AND WINNIE…..and if they hadn’t come with those names, we would have named them Lovey and Dovey, they are that sweet. They are littermates and have never been separated and only with one owner. Sadly, their senior mom is going into assisted living and can’t take them with her. They have been loved and well treated, as best a senior can do…but she never gave them shots, had them spayed, put on a collar, walked them on a leash and were rarely taken outside!! They are potty pad trained…and now, they walk pretty well on a leash, the collars are on, they’ve been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed and they are healthy as can be! BONNIE is a bundle of energy! At almost 4 yrs old, she is a 13 lb, black and white soft scruffy DoxiPoo, as best as we can tell. She doesn’t seem to shed much, but unlikely hypoallergenic. She is the leader and gets uber excited when she sees you! Bonnie will give you a bath with her tongue if you let her — she loves to tell her person how much they are appreciated. WINNIE is just 9.5 lbs, tan in color and also a DoxiPoo. She is not scruffy like her sister — her coat is soft and silkier. The more low key of the two, she is a bit on the timid side at first — but don’t let that fool you! She gets equally excited to see you and kiss you — just less demonstrative than her sister. Winnie is a bit on the fearful side and not as outgoing as Bonnie initially, but this is all very new to them. With practice and patience, we believe they will be model citizens. They are just learning what toys are!! The ideal home for these lovebugs will have a yard to make their potty training easier on their family. They don’t like being left alone! When they first arrived, they howled if I wasn’t around, but now that they feel safe, they are very quiet. Still, we don’t think an apartment would be the best for them. They need to know they are loved and in their forever home, and lots of attention and opportunities to experience the world around them. Their balanced energy is the perfect match…Winnie would love to stay and sit on your lap, while Bonnie goes running with a family member! Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID If you are interested in adopting a pup from Lhasa Happy Homes, please complete the Adoption Application before calling. We will contact you once it has been reviewed. Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Our event is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring pictures or video of your home and yard if we have not done a home check (preferred)! Story
Noble is about 4 years old, 10.6kg(23.4 lbs), 32 cm(12.6 inches) tall, neutered boy.   Noble is a sweet and affectionate pup who wins hearts wherever he goes. He’s incredibly social and loves human interaction — not just with familiar faces, but with strangers too! He’ll happily approach new people for pets and cuddles, even showing his belly to someone he just met. He’s gentle and patient with children, especially those under 13, and he can be comfortably picked up with arms under his belly.   Noble enjoys meeting other dogs and greets them politely, but he prefers the company of people over playtime with pups. His reaction to cats hasn’t been observed yet.   He has a moderate energy level — he enjoys outdoor activities like walks but is calm and relaxed once back home. He’s an experienced walker and doesn’t pull on the leash, staying close to his human companion. He’s not food-aggressive and shares his space and food nicely with people and other dogs. He also travels well in a kennel and remains calm during transport. Noble was rescued from a city shelter where he had been neglected and left untreated for a skin condition. As a result, he has some permanent hair loss on his forehead, chest, back, and behind his ears. While his fur is unlikely to grow back in these areas, he is currently in good health and has no ongoing skin or medical issues. Noble is ready for a loving forever home where he can share his affectionate and gentle nature with his new family. Could that be you? You can also check his post on our Facebook (Link to Post) or Instagram (Link to Post)   Send in your application today through our website https://adoptmekoreanrescue.org/adoption-application/ AKR dogsHe can arrive at Vancouver or Toronto airport and may be able to arrive at some US airports (Seattle, LA, NY, Boston etc) where we have flight volunteers.
